If you know anything about me at all you know that I love all products beauty and fashion related. I’ll try just about any face cream, shampoo, makeup, or lotion at least once. In fact, I can think of 6 kinds of shampoo currently sitting around my tub at the moment.
I can’t help it.
It’s a sickness.
When I was younger everyone would tell me how young I looked. I hated it. When I was 18, I was told I couldn’t be more than 12. When I was 21..I looked 16. Now at nearly 34, I am happy to look like an adult, but I would give anything to have the “you look like your 21″ again speech.
Well…you know…come to think of it, when C and I were on our way back from Disney a lady at the gas station said she thought we were sisters till I learned in and said something to her and she realized I was her mother. It made me feel warm and fuzzy.
No matter how many products I have tried there are a few things I have learned that hold true:
1) If you live a stress free life, your face and skin will reflect that.
2) Stay away from smoke and smoking
3) Its never too early for good lotion. Ever. If you have a 5 year old daughter, teach that girl about SPF now.
And if you somehow missed all that growing up, you turn to advanced products to help stop, reverse, or at least hide, the affects of aging. Right now as a single mom to two kids, I cannot tell you the amount of times I get to wake up with black circles under my eyes. So I was super interested when Artistry by Amway came out with an under eye circle cream and presented it to MomDot to share with you.
About Artistry
Artistry by Amway is among the world’s top five largest-selling, premium skincare brands, offering unprecedented skin care solutions backed by dermatologist testing, advanced science, unparalleled proof of performance, and personalized service unmatched by any beauty counter in the world. We encourage you to visit www.amway.com/artistry to learn more.Creme Luxury Eye is the newest product from Amway’s Artistry.
Unlike most eye creams, Creme LuXury Eye targets the signs of aging that impact both the upper and lower eye areas, delivering a total 360˚ transformation around the eye. The creme contains CellEffect technology, featuring Cardiolipin (worth 30 times its weight in gold), which re-energizes the skin and boosts its natural ability to repair, helping it act up to 15 years younger and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
At $175, the price point is fairly high, I am not going to deny that. Most luxury creams are, but you are talking to a girl that spends $80 a bottle on Shampoo…so if something works, Ill pay it.
For your upper eye area –
- Visibly lifting the eye area, giving it a look of energy and vitality.
- Reducing the appearance of saggy skin around the eyes.
- Increasing firmness and elasticity for more supple skin in the eye area.
- Helping sculpt the eye area for a lifted look.
For your lower eye area –
- Reducing the appearance of dark circles.
- Visibly smoothing puffiness.
- Softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the under eye area.
- Helping prevent visible fine lines with a moisture surge.
- Diminishing the appearance of expression lines.
The real question is…does it work?
I can’t tell you.
Yet.
I have some on the way to me and I’ll update if I see dramatic results.

Stress causes my problems@!
Lack of sleep. allergies plus I have wrinkles.
I have black circles and wrinkles around my eyes
Black circles under my eyes are due to age
Stress, lack of sleep, age, and probably a lot of other things.
I don’t know…genetics? always had them but getting older doesn’t help
The weight of the sands of time:) oh yeah and no sleep.
Two of my four kids have gone through illness this year. One turned out to be everything a ok, the other one is still seeing several doctors a week, and i know all will be just fine in the long run, but the stress is making my hair grey and I see wrinkles on my forhead and my eyes have dark circles. It’s what us mom’s do…we age when our children aren’t doing well
stress and lack of sleep. insomnia isnt fun.
Think it is being tired

Lack of sleep and just getting older
I need more sleep and I’m sure they would go away!
stress , lack of sleep
I believe genetics is why I have dark under eye circles.
i am pale so the dark circles under my eyes looks terrible.
I don’t have bad eye wrinkles, and thank goodness cause I’ll be 40 soon!
My dd and DH give me bags!
Not enough sleep gives me circles under my eyes.
I have kids too, and yes, they give me wrinkles. But unfortunately, I was born with dark circles and bags under my eyes. I’ve tried tons of different products and I’d love to give this a try!

5 children and a serious lack of sleep are contributing to my under eye circles.
Lack of sleep and worrying too much.
I hope it works if I win. I have dark circles from two grown kids and 3 g-kids
I would love to try this myself as well!
Lack of sleep
The cause of my circles? Mommyhood, television, the computer, and quiet when my kids go to bed. =)
The circles under my eyes are from staying up too late every night blogging.
And because I don’t use special creme to help, still using stuff I used in college 14 years ago. yikes. BTW, my mandatory tweet web address was incorrect when I posted above -should have been https://twitter.com/#!/akronohiomoms/status/147878973634912256
Thanks for the chance!
Lack of sleep – 2 toddler girls and two businesses. Oy!
Three kids and nursing one of them!!
I am no spring chicken.
Age!
I’m going to tell myself that its my super fair skin.
I have always been told I’ve had big eyes, and when I was much younger, I always thought of them as my best feature. Now that I’m 44, if I get anymore bags under my eyes, I just know American Airlines will start changing me extra for those as well. I’m like you, I will try anything once and at $175 a pop, unless I win something like this, I’m never going to be able to afford this. Between being a mom, wife and having sleep issues (chronic insomnia) my eyes now look horrible (to me anyways). I think another thing to teach our children, especially young girl/women is to be very gentle under the eyes, when removing eye make up, as that area is so delicate. I was never told to be careful and boy does it show!
Hah! My undereye circles are def. from my two boys… ages 1 and 3.
Enough Said.
Being 44 with a 4 year old. If that doesn’t do it nothing will…lol
At 46 the main thing giving away my age lately are the bags and the elephant skin like wrinkles around my eyes. I would love to get back that dewy, youthful, fresh doe-eyed look. Please help!
Age, heredity, my husband, my kid, my life – rofl – I have the WORST dark circles and bags under my eyes.
I don’t get much circles under my eyes…. but when I do it’s because of Landon waking up so much at night and I’m trying to night wean him!
I’d have to say my lack of sleep!
Oh my goodness. I so want to try this. I am a single mom of 5 kids and 4 grandchildren. At 46 I guess it is inevitable to get undereye circles. This is the thing I hate and notice the most when I look in the mirror. I would say mine are from the stress of just trying to make ends meet and feeling pulled in a hundred directions all at the same time. Would love to win this. Thanks
Bills and chasing an active 5 year old around, lol!
