Customized Girl Discount Code

I have never actually ordered from Customized Girl, but I am on their mailing list and I never remove myself. I’m not sure why, but I enjoy their letters when they come in. I’m convinced one of these days I’m going to buy myself a “I know I’m a blogger but I swear I have friends…I think” shirt.

Anyhoo..this came in today and those of you that attend conferences might want to get a blog logo or something on it.

Next year we have been married 10 years.

I want to take him on a trip for our anniversary.

To celebrate the past, the present, and the future.

I wrote this post 10 times.

I sat down to write a post today. I figured if I don’t jump back in the game, it may fade…that I may end up sitting on my couch staring at the wall 8 hours a day, alone, and still with laundry to do.

I feel changed some how.

Not because of Sebastian, although it undoubtedly reminded me that life is happening all around me every moment, but even with getting hurt and realizing I’m not invincible and that there is more to reality than virtual. Online friends took the time to send me cards…it was touching.   I received an email from another mom telling me that her child almost died this weekend from an accidental overdose and it just all…..it  just reminded me that its now more than ever time to get back to the things I love.

I have a long time spent time on the internet trying to find where I belong. I don’t belong due to a twitter account, a facebook account, a blog post, or the amount, or lack thereof, of followers- those things cant possible measure all the things that I think, feel, and breath every minute. We are too complex as women, as mothers, as humans.

And I have decided something.

I am not going to be a slave to my blog anymore.

I am no  longer going to fret if I dont post for 3 days in a row, or  if I want to just ask for votes for a contest that I hope I win, or if I want to do a review or a giveaway or 10 reviews and giveaways – in a row- or just post about kids clothes I cant afford. .. …cause this is my blog.

This is my blog.

It feels good to say it.

PS I drink soda and it has High Fructose Corn Syrup in it and I dont give a crap.

I guess I should blog

I’m trying to think of something to say.

Target Halloween Skirts

I was wondering through Target last week and noticed their new pettiskirts. Charlotte wore these ALL summer and had a collection of every color they carried. As she got taller, we added leggings and shorts to them to make them last longer. I noticed that Target has Halloween styles out now, which make them super cute and adorable, but since she is in uniforms at school, I have a hard time justifying temporary skirts.

Halloween Orange Tutu Pettiskirt

Then again, at only $9.99 you really cant miss stocking up!

Pair it up with this Halloween shirt for $4.99!

Candy’s Hairbows

As Charlotte has gotten older, hair bows have been less of a necessity, but I do love them. I especially love korker bows as I am too lazy to make them. So when the holidays roll around, I generally breakdown and purchase a few related to the season and this season was no exception.

Currently I happen to have some Halloween and Christmas bows lying around, but they still have alligator clips attached rather than french clips and charlotte needs french with as much hair as she has accumulated.

I bought these entitled “Monster Mash” for only $7 a pair (including shipping!) from Candy.

Cute. Cute. Cute.

Btw, Charlotte adored opening a package addressed to her and promptly let me know that it was HER mail. She let out a squeal when she saw it was bows. She put them in her hair straight away (which is why her pictures are so frazzled…no time to fix it up).

We also ordered a pair of candy corn ones and Ill show those when she gets around to wearing them.

A Wish Come True- Pretty Witch

I think I let y’all know that I bought some costumes from Zulily by A Wish Come True. Well, they came in and they are DARLING. Now, they run a tad smaller than I thought for my gymnastics queen over here (big muscles for a little girl), but they are perfect for dress up.

On the hanger it looked like this:

On my pretty princess, it looks like this:

Now the bodices on these dresses are basically leotards, so keep that in mind.

Ill share the other one in a different post, but I am so glad I bought this one. Darling!
