3 more weeks of madness

madnessWe didn’t have Charlotte this weekend. I’m telling you, the house was so empty. It always sounds more fun then it is to have your child away for a few days, but the truth is that there is a spirit that leaves your home with your child.

Of course, 2 hours after she got home I was wondering when the hell her bedtime was, but nonetheless, a home is not a home without obnoxiousness.

We spent the day wandering around the flea market looking at the poor caged dogs, went to a quick lunch, and then off to see New Moon.

In about 3 months when Taylor Lautner turns 18, Ill tell you my feelings about him.

*cough*

Until then, Ill just be referring to Zac Efron as the only boytoy of my dreams.

Anyhoo.

The blog has super slowed down and will continue to be this way for at least three more weeks. I am in the middle of moving over all blog related  (how  to’s, plugins, monetization, etc) articles to a new site, which will leave momdot only personal life and ridiculous video clips. It’s been pretty difficult maintaining them all as one and I get a lot of requests on specific articles people are looking for, so I wanted to make them easier to find amongst the chaos.

Of course designing a new website is so much fun that I get really caught up in creating and it just eats up my hours. Its a sickness of mine to buy premium blog templates. On top of that, between holiday shopping and obligations, pr/giveaways wrapping up, and all the traveling and trips scheduled this month (New Years in New Orleans! WHOOP WHOOP), I haven’t gotten too much done on the blog outside of forum chatting.

What can I say? I’m not so good at micromanaging myself.

I have gotten a TON of email lately (a lot of husbands and wives writing to DH and I) and most wanting to know when the next videos will be up. Since I haven’t been able to write everyone back, this is the public notice. Its all coming back, I promise. December is just one of those months for everyone that is an self-induced vaca.

The weekend after New Years everything should be back on schedule. Until then, just enjoy the downtime like we are, Ill post when I find something worthy of you reading (subscribe here so you can keep up when its all online again), and in the mean time I am stocking up and creating new video footage and blog topics for the new year.

Love to you all!

Trisha

Enjoy the down time. I can’t wait to see the new upcoming goofy videos; they’re always a ton of fun!

  5. I don’t get the Twilight thing.

I am an Anne Rice Vampire girl.

And the cast of that movie are all just babies. So young. I just can’t watch stuff like that. Maybe I will watch Twilight when it comes on the movie channels next month.

    Maybe not.

We all need the break, Trisha. Just make sure you make sometime for you, the hubby, and Charlotte. Looking forward to the new site and all its wonders.
Best wishes to you and yours for the holidays and enjoy New Orleans.

  7. When he turns 18. LOL. In Twilight I was totally Edward crazy, I so preferred Jacon to Edward in New Moon.
