1) I took out some candy to eat earlier and it got eaten by someone…not me. So I took out some more. Laying it on the counter reminds me to enjoy life and eat some candy….otherwise it gets all locked up for “special times”.
Where is the fun in that?
2) I am really sentimental.
This was Captains special Giraffe. I won’t let anyone else have it and it sits on the mantel and watches over us.
3) My office desk is the “gathering place” for the whole family.
Things end up here and I have no clue where they came from. Every day is an adventure, which proves that wherever mom is, so is the family.
4) I always have cooking ideas, but not sure where to go with them. Right now I have edible butterfly’s that need a home…yes. Edible.
I don’t know how good they will taste though and they have been sitting there for 3 months. I am open to ideas.
5) My side of the closet is the messy side. It’s true…I am the ‘house cleaner’ for the most part.
I do the majority of the upkeep and I don’t mind it at all…but when it comes to my drawers and closet, I am a mess. My husband, on the other hand, has perfectly hung clothing and military precision folded clothing in all his drawers. Which is good cause he cannot put a dish in the dishwasher after lunch to save his life.

I have the favorite stuffed animal of the pup we had to have readopted {he attacked my dad} on display, too, and I even have an old tennis ball that my childhood dog played with around here somewhere. &I can’t wait to see what happens with the butterflies! Your desk is like my dining room table (which sometimes serves as a desk). Although my deceased cats have their ashes on a different table. Sigh.

Okay you and my husband have similar closet habits LOL. I am the clean side. I have to have closets just so or I almost start twitching. My desk is clean too. However my house is not…which means you come clean my house I will come clean your closet and desk LOL
My side of the closet is definitely a disaster area. Hubby’s side is all organized and mine is just chaos.
At first glance I thought that candy was coffee beans….I am hopeless. (and my closet usually looks like that too – with a neat freak husband who color coordinates his t-shirt piles. I gave up a long time ago)

GREAT FUN! I can’t wait to click on and read everyone’s ‘tour.’ Did I see ‘cat ashes?’ Oh my. I can relate to that one. And sentimental? Oh boy. I can also relate to your husband’s closet vs your closet. Ours are exactly the same. I can be as neat as can be in some areas, but others just fall apart.

Your home is so nice and put together! I am too sentimental which is why I am surrounded by clutter, I need to purge! Those pretty butterflies would look nice on a cake or cupcakes!
I wish I was the cleaner … I vacuum, do dishes and laundry.

Can we trade houses? I can’t wait to move. Our everything collects things. Our old house it was my desk as that was right by the front door. Now our office with the big computers is in the basement and we haven’t been down there since baby was born as it’s not finished. I really need to find a drop zone for things in one central location.
