$500 Gift Card to Pearl Girl Tags (CLOSED)

That’s right, Pearl Girl Tags are back again and they are going LARGE for Valentines Day. Think about it…..your DH forgets Vday? Who cares! Buy yourself something sweet. Single this season? Celebrate it by showing off some mommy bling! Or maybe you want to use it to get something special for a loved one in YOUR life……..or you can send something to me. I don’t mind. In fact, I *encourage* it.

Pearl Girl Tags is one of our premium sponsors this month and this is the 3rd time she has graced MomDot with her beautiful jewelry! From delicate hand made necklaces, to intricate brass creations, her work is truly one of a kind. Lisa has long loved making jewelry and says:

I am so blessed to live in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge with my loving and supportive husband and our wonderful three children. Creating jewelry became a passion and release from everyday life. I really enjoy creating, and seeing things come to life, as well as, the joy and happiness of seeing people who wear my creations.

I hope my jewelry will bring happiness to you too.

Now I have been to her site before and I just love all she does with pearls. Pearls are my favorite thing in jewelry. Nope, not diamonds…pearls. I love them. In fact, we got one in Hawaii when we got married, straight out of an oyster. We sent it to a jeweler to have a ring made and they sent back the ring WITH A DIFFERENT PEARL. We contacted them and they had ours, gave it back, but they had damaged it. My favorite pearls are Tahitian pearls, so someday when I get to Tahiti, I will bring one back and get my ring.

I am so pleased with her new items, but my hands down favorite piece on her site still remains this gorgeous, personalized bracelet:

Because Lisa’s jewelry at Pearl Girl tags can include personalization, you can pick from a huge variety of words she has suggested or pick your own. Her words of inspiration are very inspiring, so I did want to share those (mine are in pink!):

My husband asked me where I’d like to go for my birthday last year. After alot of thinking, I decided I wanted air conditioning!! So, we got that for the home. This year, he asked the question again. I told him an island in Europe. He booked the trip and told me we were leaving the kids with the grandparents. I asked if the kids could go as we’ve never gone anywhere without them. He said No Way!! I’m looking forward to the trip!

Our most special time was the birth of our kids – nothing compares to the moment you first look into their eyes! And you know you are in for a lifetime of special moments.

The most special time I have ever had with my husband was when we first got married like a month or so into our marriage I got really sick and didnt want to get out of bed or even move. My husband called in sick to work and took care of me the whole entire day he was such a sweetheart. He made me chicken noodle soup and watched chick flicks with me all day long! That was by far the best day of our marriage even though i was sick as a dog.

My husband and I just had our first child. I labored for 39 hours and then pushed for three. He never left my side and did whatever I asked. I couldn’t have asked for more.

The most special time I shared with my husband was at the birth of our son. I had just delivered my son and the placed him on my stomach. My hubby leaned over and whispered in my ear “Thank You For The Best Gift Ever”. At that moment I felt a tear fall from his face onto my cheek. I will cherish that special time in our lives forever :O) thanks so much for the wonderful giveaway!!!!

My most special time is a trip that I wish I could repeat and I just may do it someday! We did a road trip down the east coast of the US. I95 happens to run from Maine to Miami, so lots of great exits in there and places to explore!

It may not sound like such a great trip, but I love traveling and there were so many things to see and do! I think that any trip can be made into a romantic time if the participants want it to be that way. :-)

Anyhow, it was a week and a half without much of an agenda and it’s the type of thing that sticks in memory forever.

Holy moly is right. I think my most special time was my wedding night and week long honeymoon. Gives me the tinglies just thinking aobut it. So young and in love. *Sigh*

  16. Julie says:

My most special memory was the vacation we took in the British Virgin Islands. We rented a 40ft catamaran sailboat with a few other couples and sailed through the BVI’s for 10 days. Our days were filled with sunshine, snorkeling, and blender drinks – which eventually led to naps. :-) Our nights were filled with sampling local fare at restaurants on different islands – all very casual, no dressing up. Very natural and very relaxing. Hands down our best vacation as a couple (sans kids). :-)

Most special memory with hubby was our vacation to Gatlinburg in oct 2000. Beautiful fall weather, we got to see the leaves change color- and Gavin was conceived on that trip!

My most special memory was my oldest son’s wedding day in Belize. My Mom was with us and it also happened to be her 69th birthday. Boy, did we celebrate! We didn’t know it at the time but she was sick and it turned out to be her last birthday. It was a beautiful, special day that I will always cherish.
