And I was compelled to share..its worth a look today. Its a daddy blog, and we actually have no daddy blogs listed on our site, although we have a category (that sits empty) for them. No daddies have inquired ever. Sad.
This is the story of Matt, Liz, and Madeline…and Madelines Birth…and Liz’s death and the blog Matt now keeps.

I visited his blog yesterday (when I read this post). I agree, it is a tearjerker and he writes really well – God Bless him and his beautiful baby girl.
I’ve been reading Matt’s blog off and on for a couple of months now. He’s an amazing individual with a tremendous support system. Maddie is one lucky little girl.
Wow…thank you so much for putting this blog out there. Wow…
oh my word, what a strong man he is!!
I couldn’t help but share this blog, it really is amazing and makes you think, and yes sometimes cry. I think on a daily basis it is easy to forget how sweet life is with a partner by your side, no matter how many times you have to pick up their socks or remind them to take out the trash. I dunno what I would do without my husband, but I have a feeling I would not be as good at sucking it up and getting on with life and enjoying my child as Matt is.
Wow! No making me cry! I agree with Kim…no crying on Friday!!
Wow, i’ve never heard of this blog and i’ve been reading for the past 30 minutes and i’m entralled. What a bittersweet life Matt has lived. Ugh, my heart aches.
That is awful what happened to mom but wonderful that he gets a child that will always remind him of her.
this is one of my favorite blogs. even if it does make me cry almost every time, i love it.
I have also been following his blog for a some time. He’s an amazing individual and such a wonderful father to his beautiful little girl. He’s also an wonderful photographer and storyteller.
OH! I’ve been following that one since it started — awesome blog. He’s a great photographer, and so good at telling it like it is.
Can we implement a new rule? No making me cry on Fridays!
Wow….
Yea.. this one is rough.
He’s so strong, what a wonderful Daddy that little girl has!
