Ever since MomDot opened back in 2008 we have done our best to connect bloggers via our forum and advertise bloggers and mom based businesses for free. But as time went on, the site changed, the content changed, the templates changed immeasurably, and our listings went from a priority to the back burner seemingly overnight.
While we still have all our old listings, accessing them via our template is pretty much impossible. Recently a blogger friend of mine called and asked me why I don’t start making sure I advertise those again, so I put on my thinking cap and put together an automated listing page that will soon be on advertised on the front page of the MomDot blog where visitors can surf through.
I do have some things I have to work out via the pagination, but feel free to get registered and add your blog while the kinks are unkinked. There is no fee to list your blog and I don’t require a reciprocal link or banner, although its always appreciated if you carry other RSS feeds or links in your sidebar to include ours.
Right now I am unsure the direction MomDot Blog is taking.
After two years I have been through PR, controversy, personal, community, reviews, and I cant find anything I am dead passionate about except being involved in the lives of the women that I sign on daily to chat with.
Therefore you will have to bear with me as 2010 is a year of discovery for this blog.
Sometimes when you show up it may have something funny, or just a photo, or a fashion I found, or something completely random, but I hope through the years we have developed the relationship such that you are interested no matter what road it takes.
Or doesn’t take.
One thing blogging has taught me is that no amount of social networking can replace signing off and some days I am not too sure where or what I should be doing.
Nonetheless I am not sure I am ready to move on from blogging quite yet, so Ill trudge along and hope I find my way back and that its interesting and becomes passionate once more.
But one thing that is always worth it to me is the time to help others and to remind new and older bloggers alike that leaning on each other, advertising each other, and passing the visitors amongst the sites we work so hard on is a must. It should be second nature.
Therefore I hope as the listing pages grow, you tell others to list their site and you frequently come back to find new blogs and support one another.
Because without that, I am not sure what any of us are here for.
~Trisha
PS for those that are businesses, I will be opening a full separate page for businesses shortly. Please be on the lookout after this is completed.

Hi Trisha, So happy to see such a great response. I like to see us women getting together and letting things get and be talked about in open. Love your site and the name as I myself have joined the journey of mommy hood lol. Please visit me blog http://psychicforlove.blogspot.com/ or website http://www.psychicforlove.com
Thanks for giving us a place to advertise our blogs but more importantly a great place to meet new & seasoned bloggers on a platform we can get to know each other without the drama of comparing stats! ;D
It’s not letting me register. Maybe it’s my browser. Will try another.
I think this is a great idea. It’s not easy getting started, in fact it’s just plain overwhelming! Thank you for setting this listing up! When I have time this week I am going to peruse all the listing (or at least some of them).
Trisha,
Thanks for what you do in regards to helping others w/blogging, but also in the help you provide personally. You really do care about people and it shows through your continued efforts.
I’m enjoying the other side(s) of you while you figure out the new direction of your blog (and life?).
Well spoken Trisha…and thank you.
thankyou for listing this!
Anytime
and thank you for listing my site
and all the other great sites!
