OK, you motivated me, I just boxed everything up and it’s waiting for DH to take it down tot the crawl space. Anyone want to take bets on how long we step over and around it until he takes it down?
Your not the only one, don’t feel bad mine is still up. In New Orleans some people turn thiers into Mardi Gras trees…..just another excuse not to take it down I’m sure!!
Well our tree went down on New Years but we still have the lights on our house…and last night we even had them on. We replaced the porch light bulb with an adapter to plug in the lights. I suggested lets just put a light bulb back in then he could take the lights down when we have a warmer day. Nope…DH doesn’t want to leave an open plug???
Haha mine is still up too. I normally take it down the day after Christmas. I keep staring at it thinking I should take it down but just don’t do it. It would be easier to take all the decorations off and decorate it for Valentines day!
I couldn’t stand it anymore. Our house is too small to have it up very long. We took (the kids and I that is) ours down three days or so after Christmas. I needed my living room back. Ours is very pretty but is HUGE! Good luck getting unbusy/motivated to get yours down. But on the bright side if you leave it up long enough you can decorate it for St. Patty’s Day or Easter! lol
LOL, Alicia… I *just* took my tree down this weekend. I was feeling so ashamed that I didn’t have it down yet! hahah…..
There’s a guy on the local radio show that litearally keeps his tree up ALL year. It just sits in the corner of his dining room, out of the way, and they never take it down!
No, ours is still up too. My fibro has been acting up bad, and everyone else in my house seems to have broken arms and legs so they haven’t taken the tree down either. I should do it today with all this adrenaline from being pissed off, but oh well.
Mine isn’t down. We were leaving it up extra because we weren’t even here for Xmas.

Nope. We’re still looking at ours. And playing Mario Kart Wii instead of taking it down! Maybe next weekend!

DH took the lights down outside last night. Our lighted deer had been laying on their side in the yard for a week. Looks like hunters got them!
