AngelPack Baby Wearing (CLOSED)

26 Sep Posted by Alicia in General | 141 comments

Here at Momdot, I’m the resident babywearing guru.  I have always been one of those Mom’s who wore their baby’s in a sling, pouch, or mei tai from the time my girls were newborns.  The bonding I felt from wearing my girls was just what I wanted.  I loved having them close to me.  When we were looking around at sponsors for Momdot, I came across Angelpack Soft Structured Carriers.  I was so excited when I asked Nelly at Angelpack if she wanted to be a sponsor.  I just knew that her product would be a perfect thing for the readers at Momdot.  She readily agreed to be a sponsor and I was offered a carrier to test out myself.  I was overjoyed when I had to opportunity to try out this beautiful SSC from Angelpack.  I was giddy to say the least.

I got the  carrier within a couple days of her agreeing to get it to me.  When I got it, I immediately put Reagan (the 3 year old) in the carrier.  She loved it and so did I.  Here are a couple pictures of Reagan in the carrier.  Reagan is a peanut, and only weighs 27lbs at almost 3.5 so she wasn’t heavy at all on the front of me.  Most carriers allow for up to 30lbs of weight on the carrier.

The pattern is a beautiful organic Lotus Fabric, that’s so soft and pretty.  Its not too bright, but its not too dull.  The carrier has sturdy buckles all around. There is the perfect amount of leg padding where the kids legs go.  Sometimes in different carriers there is too much padding or too little padding.  The carrier is not too wide either, this is the only carrier that fits both of my girls perfectly.

The padding around the waist strap is just enough, it doesn’t cut into you or make your back uncomfortable at all.  While I was trying this carrier out, I wore Kaylee (almost 16 months) on my back at Busch Gardens for at least a couple hours.  I never once hurt my back or was uncomfortable like the Baby Bjorn would’ve made me.

So I was able to get Reagan to snap a picture of me with Kaylee (who wasn’t too cooperative, by the way).  I do have to add that Reagan did a great job with being my photographer. Oh and sorry for the no make-up, still in my pajama’s look, LOL.

Now being the babywearer that I am, I have to say that this is now my favorite carrier.  Maybe its the quality of work that’s put into them, or maybe its the fabric or the easy of use.  I can’t pin point a specific item, but with all the carriers I use, I always grab this one first. ~ Alicia
