B blanket from Rain or Shine Kids Review

I live in Texas where the weather is as unpredictable as a toddler’s moods. One day it will be hot and humid and the next day it will be chilly and windy. Some days it’s both hot and humid and chilly and windy all in the same day. I can’t tell you how many times I have dressed my kids for one type of weather and then the weather changes and we’re out and about in the wrong type of clothes…. more often than not we are in short sleeves when it turns cold (I also can’t tell you how many Christmases we have spent in shorts in the morning and coats and pants in the afternoon).

So, I was really excited to try out the new b blanket from Rain or Shine Kids. The b blanket is made of water resistant polar fleece with ribbon ties and is from the makers of the WooBee. The new b blanket is an affordable, modern all weather blanket that features modern patterns and whimsical colors backed by trademark water resistant fabric. The polar fleece and simplified design allows Rain or Shine Kids to offer the basic functions of their luxury WooBee to everyone.

Who is behind this wonderful blanket? Rain or Shine Kids was founded by Heather Correa.

From their website:

Heather Correa, owner of These Two Girls LLC, was originally inspired to design the uniquely practical Rain or Shine Kids products after the birth of her first daughter. An outdoor enthusiast living is Seattle, WA, she wanted a highly effective and functional product line that is cozy for children and cool for parents. Rain or Shine Kids products are a huge hit, and Heather now routinely calls upon her daughters, Lola and Ava (These Two Girls!), to test and approve new Rain or Shine Kids designs.

These Two Girls and Rain or Shine Kids is committed to producing practical, beautiful products that parents and children will use and love every day.

Shannon’s test drive:

I thought this would be great to attach to my baby boy’s stroller this past weekend when it was windy and cool out. He is bad about kicking off blankets so the ties were such a huge help. The b blanket worked great. He wouldn’t keep his hat on but he couldn’t kick his b blanket off and it keep the wind off of him on the way to the park. The material is super soft polar fleece on one side and water resistant material on the other side. It was very easy to tie onto his stroller and stayed put.

I love that there are many uses for the b blanket. It can be used to cover a baby in a front carrier, protect an infant in an infant carseat from the elements or keep him or her warm. It can even be used as a play mat at the park (we tried that and it worked great). See?

It can also be used as a diaper changing pad and, of course, as a stroller blanket.

I also found a new use for the nifty b blanket… I lined the dirty infant swings at the park and it worked perfect to make them more comfortable and cleaner for my little guy to swing in.

Do I recommend this? I sure do. As a matter of fact, I am going to purchase another for my toddler. I kept wishing I had two this past weekend… one for each boy. Right now is a great time to buy because Rain or Shine Kids is having a sample sale where can buy a b blanket to try for only $20. The regular price is $36 and a great deal, in my opinion.

Those are cute and very useful!! i like how they can be tied to the stroller. There are times when walking at the park it gets drizzly and we still have to walk all the way back to the car which could be up to a mile away. Definitely adding to my wish list!
