Party all week! Day #1

In honor, I am putting up the one of two pictures I have that showed my stomach my ENTIRE pregnancy. This was one month before Charlotte was born.

Feel very, very special right now. I wasn’t exactly someone that enjoyed being pregnant and I wanted zero documentation of it.

See that crappy hair cut/style? I had this brilliant idea to get my hair cut and colored like two days before this picture and I HATED it. What possessed me to actually think that an 8 month pregnant girl can make a rational decision as important as hair?

Charlotte was born on January 23rd, 2005 and is barely a week older then Lily. She was 6’7″ when she was born and 19.5 inches. She dropped down to 6’3″ after she was born. Her delivery was fairly traumatic after a spotless pregnancy, resulting in my own personal hell of an allergic reaction to the cathadar, major shakes and throwing up, spike in both of our temperatures, and we ended up staying in the hospital for four days. The dr said I have to have her immediately or I would go into a C section. She was born with forceps, a vacuum, AND a severe episiotomy. I was dilated 10 at 3:42 and had her at 3:48….6 minutes.

The world welcomed my princess and I never had another date with my husband again.
