Blog Party: Day 11

Welcome to MomDots Blog party, where we want to get to know you and have you go around the blogosphere and “play” the next few weeks. Its so easy to get caught up in our own blogs, that sometimes we need to find a way to interact amongst each other, so if you choose to play and expose your blog and visit others, for that, we thank you.

Anytime you answer a question posed in the blog party, please put the answer on YOUR blog and then sign the linky for that day. You can earn entries into our Blog Party Contest Pull by going to other blogs and leaving comments, visiting VIP bloggers and leaving comments, visiting sponsors, and of course, putting up your answer to the question.

Every time you have completed an entry point, please comment in the master entry list for the entire blog party. Do NOT put your contest entries in individual blog party day questions. This post is only for the link back to your blog where your answer is.

Please link back to each party day post in your new post so party members can move freely from link to link and also include sponsors above your answer.

DAY ELEVEN QUESTION

post by Staci

Welcome to Day 11 of the MomDot Christmas Blog Party!  We hope everyone is getting in the holiday spirit and getting to know their fellow bloggers better.

Let’s be honest here, when someone mentions Thanksgiving, all thoughts go right to food.  And why wouldn’t they?  If your house is anything like ours, there’s more food than twenty people could eat in a week.  Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, corn, baked macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, homemade rolls.

Then there’s the desserts.  By the time dessert rolls around, I’m already feeling like a stuffed pig, and yet, I somehow find just a little extra room.  Pumpkin, Oreo cream, peanut butter, and apple pies, chocolate cake, and fun fall sugar cookies.  There’s no way I can pass up some of these treats, and with this selection, could you?  I usually pour myself a cup of coffee, sink into a comfy chair, and enjoy myself a slice of homemade apple pie with just a bit of whipped cream.  I’m in heaven.

Now here’s the tough part, if you could only pick one food to eat on Thanksgiving, what would it be?  I know, pure torture!  Do you have a home-cooked meal or eat out?  Does your family dress up?

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!
