Welcome to MomDots Blog party, where we want to get to know you and have you go around the blogosphere and “play” the next few weeks. Its so easy to get caught up in our own blogs, that sometimes we need to find a way to interact amongst each other, so if you choose to play and expose your blog and visit others, for that, we thank you.
Anytime you answer a question posed in the blog party, please put the answer on YOUR blog and then sign the linky for that day. You can earn entries into our Blog Party Contest Pull by going to other blogs and leaving comments, visiting VIP bloggers and leaving comments, visiting sponsors, and of course, putting up your answer to the question.
Every time you have completed an entry point, please comment in the master entry list for the entire blog party. Do NOT put your contest entries in individual blog party day questions. This post is only for the link back to your blog where your answer is.
Please link back to each party day post in your new post so party members can move freely from link to link and also include sponsors above your answer.

DAY TWO QUESTION
Traditions, what are some of your favorite family traditions? What are some that you want to begin?
Hey everyone!
We hope you have enjoyed your first day of the Momdot Blog Party! Its so amazing to see how many people are participating and really enjoying all the bloggers they are meeting. What a blessing, right?
Anyway, today I’m going to chat to you about traditions, the types of traditions you have in your family, what you do, what’s special, that sort of thing
For my family, our Christmas traditions begin at Thanksgiving. We always gather at my parents house for a great dinner, of course there is always too much food and everyone eats too much. We typically do the normal dinner thing and then we hang out and maybe take a nap if we are lucky, LOL.

On Christmas Eve we always go to my parents house for dinner. For that dinner it might be soup or something nice and easy. After we eat we go to church, and everyone goes. We always go to the candlelight service and its a really special time for everyone. When church is finished we go home and get the girls to bed.
Christmas morning its our tradition to eat a big breakfast and then open presents. The anxiety of waiting to get presents is the best! You can see the joy on everyone’s faces as they check out the presents and look feel and shake them. We open our family presents. When that’s done we go to my parents house to do our stockings and family gifts. We don’t all open all our gifts at the same time, but we each wait and take the time to watch everyone open their gifts. Jamie, my husband, is typically the gift giver. He’s the one who gets the presents from under the tree and passes them out.

I’m sure as the girls get older we’ll get into the routine of what we did for Christmas and the different traditions we had. I’m excited for the girls to help us develop what works for our family.
What traditions do you have? What do you love most about the things you ALWAYS do at Christmas?
