BlogHer New Orleans is now MomDot New Orleans
As we disappointingly found out a few days ago, BlogHer in New Orleans was canceled. We do know there are people out there that bought plane tickets or lived within the local area that still want to come, so lets still meet.
Please sign this post if you would still like to meet up in New Orleans. I am thinking we could do a breakfast, still talk about blog stuff, but then go on a tour of the city, go shopping, eat red beans and rice, do a ghost tour, walk bourbon street…whatever.
A MomDot blogger weekend retreat! I live about 3 hours from NO and will either stay with a friend or would be willing to split a hotel cost with another blogger. I am game for meeting up Sat and then departing sometime Sunday afternoon.
When you post, please let me know if you still want to stick with the weekend of the 25th or prefer the weekend of the 18th.
I do know there are two other bloggers that I have already talked about it with and are game, so lets see if there are any more!

I’d love to attend, and its not that far, but I’ll have to see if its possible.
I wish we were closer! I think a 16+ hour trip is way too much for the hubby to allow it.

we are already out of town that weekend or i would load up the car with some girlfriends and make the road trip from kentucky

I wish I could…I’m a good ways from New Orleans, but it would be driveable….already have plans for both weekends though.

I’m game for the 25th during the day, but I have Boo at the Zoo tickets for 5pm, so I will have to bail out then.
i think leaving it the 25th would be BEST, but i wanted to throw it out there. I know there are bloggers that bought plane tickets for 25th so i wanted to give them a chance to still come and meet up
I live across the lake from New Orleans, a 30 minute drive…. PPV Jen had emailed me about this.. if we do it the 18th you could ALL come to my Tupperware party on the 19th! (shamless plug LOL)
I am still on bed rest and sick so if we could push it back to the wknd of the 25th it would be WONDERFUL!!!!

If it just wasn’t this month I would be soooo there. I grew up in New Orleans and my mom is always begging me to come visit so this would be a good incentive. But unfortunately October is no good for me.
