Bonefish Grill Vs Texas Roadhouse
Recently we did a comparison restaurant review for Bonefish Grill vs any other restaurant of our choice. We chose Texas Roadhouse as they were the only comparable food for the price, non-seafood restaurant in our area that wouldn’t pit Bonefish against its own chain, which includes Outback and Carrabbas. I knew it wouldn’t be fair to go with either one of those because I am very biased to Carrabbas, even before I walk in the door.

At Bonefish Grill we ordered (I did not get pictures of the food at Bonefish because I left my camera battery at home by accident when we went to dine):
- Crab Cakes WINNER
- House Salad
- Lilys Chicken
- Kobe Beef Burger WINNER
- Kids mac n cheese WINNER
- Ambiance: WINNER
- Wait Staff: Tie; very friendly
- Manager: Came over to check on meal. WINNER
At Texas Roadhouse we ordered:
- 6 oz Sirloin WINNER
- House Salad WINNER
- 8 oz Sirloin
- Jr Chicken Critters (extreme loser)
- Ambiance: VERY cold inside. I had to actually complain about air. It was teeth chattering. Messy, but open and friendly.
- Wait Staff: Tie; very friendly
- Manager: Did not check on us.

wow- i thought it was me at texas roadhouse, i’ve been cold every time I go there AND my daughter HATES their kids chicken…hmmmmm

I love Carrabba’s, Outback and Bonefish. Of course, I work for the company so I a little biased but I really think that the food is outstanding.
Oh my! I could do the same review & Texas Roadhouse would win HANDS DOWN! We ate there like once a week for several months back when we had money! I LOVE LOVE LOVE TR! Here we have 2 different TR and one has better service/atmosphere than the other. We only have one Bonefish & while it’s nice, I MUCH prefer Texas Roadhouse!
I thought Texas Roadhouse was always cold too. What I love about them is that you literally get to pick your own steak. They are not one of my faves though. My absolute favorite place to eat is Logan’s Roadhouse. OMG, they are so freakin’ awesome. The rolls are FABULOUS. I ask for extra to put in a napkin to take home. I know, sick huh. And the manager always comes around to see how we’re doing. My son loves eating peanuts and throwing them on the floor.
In second, Joe’s Crab Shack. LOVE that place, and love to watch them dance up a storm.
Have never seen a bonefish grill.
