Brag about Your Blog Day

bragI have decided today is Brag About your Blog Day. I have that authority, right?

I want you to tell me everything completely awesome you love about your blog or that has happened as a result of your blog recently. I mean, from the “one extra reader” to “working w/ a PR company” we want to know it ALL.

  • Your blog helped other people discover how cool you are
  • Companies knocking down your door
  • Met a New Friend
  • Realized what a great writer you are
  • Made some advertising dollars

Nothing too small or too large to bring up.

There is so much competition out there and we want you to know that we not only support you, but we want to hear about all your accomplishments!! You work hard on your blog, now tell everyone about it. We call it Bragging Rights.

So have at it………BRAG away.

Don’t be shy.

You’re in good company.

We like to talk about ourselves.

I don’t do bragging about my blog well, but my mom thinks its cool. haha

  2. The Talking Trekaroo is where the founders of Trekaroo – Kids. Trips. Trips. (www.trekaroo.com) share more candidly and personally about their passion and trials traveling with their families. We also share our musings about being entrepreneurial moms (and dad). Why I love our blog? I really didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. But when I touch the heart of another person through our blog who I would not cross paths with otherwise, it really warms my heart. I also love sharing about all the wonderful families we’ve discovered on Trekaroo. They share the same passion for travel and boy do they have some great tips. We started Trekaroo because we couldn’t find enough like-minded parents….now we know hundreds of them. I love that our blog highlights them.

  3. I love my new blog as blogging gives me the opportunity to explore ideas which I’ve been pondering for several years in my mind and with a few friends. It also keeps me writing for my own enjoyment, which is something I love but I’ve not pursued in several years as I’ve been busy writing for other people. I love how creative and artistic blogging is, and I love being a part of the internet social network. (Does it count to add that I love how generous other bloggers are in sharing information, templates, and guidance with those just starting out?) I love that I am doing something new. I’d love to know if there are other women who feel and see things the way I do or if I’m just completely off my rocker!

I love my blog :) Well my two main ones. Regular 1stopmom and my giveaway/review site. Because of blogging I have met some amazing people.I laugh and cry with my bloggy friends and I love it. I learn something new almost every day. It is not only theraputic but it is fun. It is such a great hobby for me. I love my little part of the blogosphere. The coolest thing is when I look over posts and see how much I have grown. My blog has helped me to see I am not alone in a lot things I experience and I am normal, lol. If you ever have the time stop by and visit. Leave a comment and I promise to drop by and visit you too :)

  5. I love my blog because I just switched over to my own domain.

I love my blog because I have learned a few things.

I love my blog because I got to interview a CEO of a big software company.

I love my blog because I am just so cool and I can tell other people about my cool family.

  6. Hi.

I love my blog. I don’t know why yet. It just began. I guess I love it for all the future stories that will be typed. I love it because I did it all by myself. I love checking it to see if anyone has commented.

Will you love it too? Feel free to check in, comment, follow, etc.

    I would love that!

  7. @ Monica:
I just checked out your newly designed blog and am so impressed! It looks terrific. :) I’m waiting for my server changeover to be completed and then I’m planning to change my blog design as well. I write a blog for adults and parents dealing with hearing loss at http://www.hearingexchange.com.

I started blogging last year and have over 40 very loyal readers. I didn’t want the same old style as everyone else, so I learned to read and manipulate html code to come up with my own template for blogger that looks similar to the wordpress templates. I have written over 25 reviews for products that companies submitted samples for. I have had so much fun creating my own little community of people that have an interest in what I have to bring them.

Okay, so first of all I have a NEW blog with no “followers” *hint hint* LOL

The one thing I have learned (that I LOVE) in starting this new blog ties in with the name of it. Sunny….. for the past nearly five years our family has been blogging on a healthcare blog site about our sons ongoing battle with a blood disorder. I finally decided that, while I will continue to keep it up and going to make sure we are documenting everything and keeping family and friends informed about his health, I was going to ALSO start a very UPBEAT blog… full of Sunshine, Sarcasm, Hope, amazing stories and just document who we are WITHOUT the illness…. who we USED TO BE….

The past two days my site visits have hit 500+ – just visits, not a lot of comments, yet, but hey, if I write it, they will come…. right!!!! At some point, someone is going to read my writings and something is going to inspire them!

Our life, if we choose to look at it in a different light, could be considered pretty “sucky” right now *is that even a word?*… but we choose to be be bright… hopeful and just downright happy….

    Fordcast Sunny!!!!

I think that by blogging about my personal journey through weight loss surgery has opened me up to a whole new type of reader.

  11. I hit (and passed) 100 followers today! That feels like an exciting milestone.

The best part is all the fun, entertaining, and super cool blogs I’ve found. I hope to get to know some of the bloggers behind the words.

  12. Monica says:

I recently purchased my own theme and customized and did the design myself!!! I’m really proud of how it came out!

  13. My blog has a cool new design!

I’ve discovered so many cool blogs through blogging! It’s great to also find other people who cloth diaper and have similar views that will find there way onto my blog–I love makig new friends!

  15. By far the best thing about blogging is the amazing people I have met, both fellow bloggers and PR personnel. I’ve also discovered quite a few new products that I never knew existed. I hope that other parents, teachers …all those interested especially in books and children’s literacy have found my blog helpful.

  16. Amber says:

I only started blogging a week ago and I’ve had 167 hits! YEAH! :) I really enjoy sharing what I know and experience with others. I feel that if I am learning, why not share? My blog is a montage of things: recipes, experiences, pictures of the kids, tips and tricks and hopefully really soon…CONTESTS & GIVEAWAYS! I really want to be a part of all of that! I’ve enjoyed venturing through many of the blogs listed on MOMDOT.COM and I hope to make new friends through blogging. Swing through and say hello! I’d love to meet you!

  17. I have made some amazing friends through my blog, helped others to know they are not alone, attracted the attention of the PR department of the Travel Channel and most recently been one of 10 blogs selected by LeapFrog for a giveaway. Besides that, I have discovered how much I enjoy writing and hope to obtain actual paying writing jobs and am planning on writing a book. Most importantly, I love doing it. It’s therapeutic and fun!
