B.Y.O.G. Delivery Your Baby in Style CLOSED

About B.Y.O.G.

byoglogoThe idea for B.Y.O.G. was born after realizing the need for a labor and delivery gown for hip mamas who don’t want to abandon their personal style or modesty in the delivery room.

We wanted to offer an alternative to the drab, used hospital gown and provide new moms with a stylish yet functional option. We are committed to helping mamas feel beautiful and look amazing, especially in all of those photos with your newborn.

We strive to deliver a product that is unique, comfortable and always reflective of the hottest new trends. We are constantly searching for and refreshing our fun prints while at the same time keeping the highest quality standards. Our gowns are always manufactured in the U.S.A.

Mom Approved:

At some point you’ve probably made your way into the hospital for one reason or another. The first thing they do is put you in one of those drab gowns covered in some neutral pattern. Then you go to tie the strings to find that parts of your rear end are still hanging out. Sound familiar?

On most occasions that is something you can deal with. But when it comes time to have a baby, the last thing you want added to your discomfort is looking like you are part of a baby producing assembly line. B.Y.O.G. (Bring Your Own Gown) has designed an entire line of maternity gowns to help change that!

After first arriving at the hospital and getting settled into my room, I was quickly handed the dreaded hospital gown. I smiled and said “no thank you, I have my own” to the nurse. She immediately looked confused and just laid the gown on my bed and walked out of the room. I waddled into the bathroom to undress and slip on my Cherry Blossom labor and delivery gown with matching pink ribbon. The nice thing about the ribbon is that it’s not attached to the gown, you can just slip it over your bump and tie the bow, or leave if off for later.

Within 1 hour of being in the hospital I had already had 3 nurses, 1 doctor, and 2 lab technicians tell me how cute I looked in the BYOG Cherry Blossom Gown. It’s amazing what a few nice compliments will do for your attitude while you’re having an I.V. jabbed into your wrist. But the BYOG Labor & Delivery gowns are far more functional that just having a hip design. Here’s my take on why these are worth every penny:

  • Snap closures instead of cloth ties allow you to fully cover your rear when getting in and out of bed, and no fighting off the knots.
  • Sizes from small to 1XL allow you to fit the gown to your own body instead of a one size (doesn’t) fits all gown.
  • Snap closure sleeves allow easy access for breastfeeding
  • 100% cotton
  • cute matching ribbon finishes off the look

Mom Improvements:

As much as I love the look and accessibility of the gowns, the feel of the fabric is still very similar to a standard hospital gown. I’d love to see a softer fabric offered.

Buy It:

B.Y.O.G. offers 12 modern styles of hospital gowns that will fit just about everyone from dress size 0 – 24 for $95.00 each.

This will be our first child and look forward to delivering our child on May 14th of this year. We can’t wait!
I want the birth to be something wonderful and I want to remember how happy we all looked, and not how worn I looked! I will have to convince my husband what a need it is! As we have so many other things to buy to get ready for our sweet baby!

I am a huge polka dot fan, so it would be awesome to see that as a pattern.

I love the lemon drop pattern. Everything is so sterile and colorless in hospitals, it would be nice to have such a bright splash of color in the delivery room!
