I am a cat person. I have 5 cats and my daughter talked us into a dog….and he is interesting, but I am not sure he counts as “cute”. Here are a selection of the top viral cat and dog images from Imgur the past few days.

I’ve only had cats but my mother wouldn’t allow me to have a dog. Their loyal, and love you way much more than a cat. All my cats do is beg me to pet them and then they just lazy around in the sun. I want someone who would welcome me home and exercise with me. So dogs, with their personalities. Cats… ehhh.
Cats are cute but their personalities completely suck. DOGS all the way.

I love the fact that they are loyal, they don’t mind cuddling with you and they can be great fitness buddies…

So I say dogs but I’m biased as I’ve never had a cat.
dogs are wonderful, loyal,perfect packmates, and they treat you like a god.
if you have a dog you NEED a cat to remind you that you are NOT god.

I am a dog person, 100%. However, we ‘inherited’ my sister in law’s cat when she went into the nursing home and he decided that I was his alpha hooman. Now we’re rescuing a stray. I guess I’m a cat person, too.
I like both… but if I had to pick, I’d go with cats! Right now we only have kitties (just 2 now) but we’ve been thinking about adopting a new doggy too (ours passed away last year to cancer) won’t be until the new year though.
