Celebrity Round-up

This story is SO screwed up to me, as I’m sure it is for everyone else who reads it. 3 people; one of them a ‘very close Travolta’ friend, are being accused of trying to extort money from the Travolta family, allegedly over circumstances relating to their son Jett’s death early this month. Here’s what we know about the allegations — Obie Wilchcombe (a member of Parliament and former “friend” of Travolta’s), former Senator Pleasant Bridgewater (she just resigned), and EMT Tarino Lightbourne made the initial demand and then began “negotiating” with Travolta’s people. They originally wanted $25 million for their information, but then throughout the negotiations with Travolta’s people, they said they’d settle for ‘somewhere in the middle’. Can you imagine what the poor Travolta family must be going through? They really must be living a nightmare.. First their son dies, and then these scumbags try to extort money from them? They really can’t catch a break, can they?!

Someone *totally* needs to tell Amy Fisher that her 15 minutes of fame is sooo over. I mean ALL she’s known for is shooting the loser Joey Buttafuoco’s wife back in 1992; 17 years ago. Get over it! But now, it looks like she’s ready for more fame, and is appearing in a pay per view porn special, called Amy Fisher: Totally Nude & Exposed. Umm, OK! This chick has repeatedly said through the years that she just wants to put everything that happened behind her and move on with her life. OK, if that’s the case, why did she come out with a book, granted interviews, and NOW has this movie. If it was called something like “Jane Doe: Totally nude & Exposed”, do you think it would have HALF the success rate as having Amy Fisher’s name attached? She’s a total tart…

One of my favorite 80′s stars, Molly Ringwald, is pregnant with twins, due in August! Sources say one is a girl and one is a boy. Her pregnancy *will* be written into her show, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”. Ok, like that’s not creepy! Her 15 year old daughter in the show is pregnant, and now Mommy will be pregnant too? Those are some great family dynamics!

I posted previously about Kelly Rutherford and her very un-manly looking husband, Daniel Giersch, splitting up even though Kelly is three months pregnant. They just went through a mud-slinging 3 week custody battle, where ultimately Kelly won the rights to take  their 2 year old son, Hermes, to New York with her while she films Gossip Girl until March. Here’s where it gets interesting: Giersch (who was just revealed, through court papers, to have never spent a night alone with Hermes) will travel to NYC *with* Rutherford and son, to take care of him while she is filming. Now, won’t that be one big happy family!! He is quoted as saying “My wife is still my wife and I’m still her husband and we’re still two human beings. She’s pregnant and we’re having a child together.” Okkkkk buddy — I think you need to wake up and smell the roses — I think things will turn out way different than you’re expecting in your warped mind!
