First off, Im sitting in my chair, checking up here, and my lovely daughter is brushing my hair, playing beauty salon. She gets down, im half paying attention (you know where this is going if you read my blog) and she starts going through my crafting drawers. I finally look over…
me: “what are you looking for?”
charlotte: “the scissors, im going to cut your hair”
me: “honey, only the SALON cuts your hair, remember, we talked about this before? Only special people cut hair”
charlotte: “I can do it”
me: “No, only at the salon, its a special place to get your hair cut, you dont cut it at home”
Here comes the kicker…she says…
charlotte: “But DADDY DOES IT”
Well. You got me there.

At least she told you! My best friend’s daughters use to cut each others hair at night. lol
My stepdaughter actuallky cut her hair at our house a couple of weekends ago. Oh man I thought her mom would kill me, I mean to say she HATES me is an understatement! But she was really cool with it! So now my beautiful 4 year old had long long hair that was silky smooth and now it is a very very short and stakced A line! HIDE the scissors Trisha!
Yikes! Good thing she asked. I think you need to hide your scissors!
