Does this mean I’m a bad mom?

Charlotte knows the entire Britney Spears CD. In fact, she was flipping through it this evening and stopped on “Radar” and I said “You dont know this one” and she said “Yes, I do” and the proceeded to prove me wrong by singing it.

I grabbed the video camera so you could get a giggle and then tell me I am a shitty mom.

Atleast she isn’t singing In Da Club, right?

My girls, too-I was just minding my business on a long drive with them when I realized they were singing to the whole flipping album. I plug my ipod into my radio so I did make a new kid-friendly playlist bc the truth is, a lot fo the songs I like are totally inappropriate for my 6 & 7 yos to be singing. Like, Uh, Disco Stick! I’d DIE if my kids knew that one, lol!

Oh my she is so cute. Those cheeks and her little voice. very sweet. And no…not a bad mommy. If you were dressing her similarly to Brit-Brit and teaching her the moves….then yeah.

If that makes you a shitty mom then add me to the list. My oldest has been singing Offspring songs since he was 5. He’s 8 now. Their Greatest Hits CD is his favorite.

LOL I don’t think you are a bad mom. My girls hear most of these songs elsewhere. I was surprised they know the songs and I didn’t even let them listen to it. I think there are worse things out there than music.
