We all know how much I love my hair. Or hate it as the case may be on any particular day. I am a hair product trying diva. If it tells me it will soften my hair, make it grow, make me beautiful, make my dinner, whatever….I’m a PR reps dream when it comes to my hair. Ill try anything once-except black hair dye. I do know my limits.

Back in June I had an opportunity to try a friends Chi. Man, those things are awesome! I have been coveting one every day since…So when I got an opportunity to test one out for real, I jumped on it.

I have big huge southern hair. If I crimped it, I would be full on 80’s, thats how big my hair is. Mainly because I have a LOT of hair. Each strand isn’t individually thick, but I have so much that it will fool you. Most places end up charging me for blow drying (that is when I am notdying myself into red and actually go TO the salon).

What I liked about the Chi Flat Irons:

• Its easy to use! The fact that it shows you the exact temperature lets you customize it to your hair. Brilliant!!!
• Warms up literally in SECONDS.
• Helloo..product that DELIVERS. It works. I have owned quite a few hair straighteners in my time and none better then this one. I dont straighten my hair every day, but I like to look different every now and then. Having curlers, a flat iron, and a curling iron is a MUST for all women. Kudos if you have products that do all of it together!
• It comes with a nice felt holder that keeps the ceramic safe
• Its multifunctional. With a hair curler in one, I can take ONE product with me, not two. Clear out those drawers a bit and great for travel.

What I didn’t like:

I have major long hair. Even though the pieces lock so you don’t use the curler while using the straightener and vice versa, I did find some of my hair getting caught in it while straightening and pulling a few pieces out. I thought it was user error at first, but having used it for a month now, its just getting caught every now and then on the separate parts. Its nothing to be that worried about, most people don’t have hair like me, and its only 1 or 2 strands, but its worth noting.
