Chick-Fil-A , Woah Mama!

I was on my way to the animal shelter and I happened to look to the right and I was flabbergasted by the amount of people outside of the Mobile (Theodore), Alabama ChickFilA.

I realize it’s Mike HuckabeesChickFilA Appreciation Day” but I didn’t realize it was going to be so dramatic.

On the way back from my meeting I pulled into the parking lot and did a walk around the restaurant.  In no way does this really show the amount of people here. There were cops directing traffic and lanes and lanes and lanes of cars.

Bible belt in full force.

On a side note, I actually wanted to EAT lunch, so I went to KFC and had some super fresh chicken (seeing as no one was in line).

  1. We love Chick Fil A and I will continue to support them, but I will do it on a day where the line isn’t that long!

I’m ashamed at most of y’all! It’s not about “the Bible Belt”. Do y’all follow the real news? This was because of the stupid left wing officials who wanted to ban Chic-fil-a because of the Ceo’s opinion on same sex marriage. Shame on y’all!

    • Umm. Christine. Yes, we absolutely watch the news. Bible Belt = Christianity = No belief in homosexual marriage = ChickFilA statements about biblical marriage….which is where the pun came from.

  3. Now I just figured out why I am seeing stuff about Chick-Fil-A and the lines on Facebook today. I couldn’t figure it out.

Thanks for giving me the insight. I love KFC. That sounds amazing right now:)

  4. WOw! that is insane, no way would I stand in that line! I love KFC so would have totally went there instead too!

  5. The one near us has been packed like crazy since this whole uproar started. Hubby went to stop last week as a way to show his support and promptly went to McDonalds. It was a Thursday at 7pm and he said the drive thru line was about 25 cars long.

  6. I appreciate Chick-fil-A. I will be appreciating some nuggets and Polynesian sauce…next week. Craziness!

  7. So I saw this on Facebook when you posted it a while ago. Then went to do some errands and totally forgot. I had to drive by our Chick-fil-a to do them, and got caught in 20 minutes of CRAZY traffic in front of the store. The same route normally takes under a minute. Wow.

  8. That is awesome! I sure wish we had one close to us! Love Chick-Fil-A! But, I’m with Cat…not gonna stand in a line that long!

  9. Lol Trisha I love that in the end you ended up at KFC for lunch.

  10. Good grief, I had no idea this was that big of a deal. I guess I just don’t care enough about any cause to stand in a ridiculously long line or protest being in a store. I’m just too lazy.

Lol! I love that u ended up at KFC. I would have too, it’s not worth any line
