When you think of a Circus, many of us have memories of watching elephants, lion tamers and dancing poodles. But on my honeymoon, I got my first look at a very different type of circus, Cirque du Soleil. If you have ever had the opportunity to experience these performances, you know that they are nothing short of spectacular. This circus showcases amazing gymnasts, acrobats, and clowns of a very different type. It is a self-proclaimed “spectacle!”

The current Cirque du Soleil tour is called Saltimbanco. From the official website: “Saltimbanco is an intense, colorful celebration of diversity, joy and creativity. In an imaginary city, a crowd of colorful, nomadic characters gather to take you on a senses-defying acrobatic journey.
