With so many stressful situations in and out a pets life, the ever changing environment can be hard on an animal. In our house, from the baby, the moving furniture, the dog, the rescue cats, and the babysitters, there is no doubt that the constant flow of our lives disrupt the natural sane and calm home that most pets like to have.
Unfortunately when something like a holiday trip or new animal in the house arrives, it can cause disruptive and sometimes destructive behavior from all your pets. Peeing on the floors, attacks on each other, even depression or sadness can occur.

What is Comfort Zone® with Feliway®?
- They are products for cats help control destructive urine marking and scratching associated with fear or stressful situations.
- The Comfort Zone® with Feliway® Diffuser continuously releases an odorless vapor that mimics the soothing feline facial pheromone. Plug it in where your cat spends most of its time to keep it calm.
- Comfort Zone® with Feliway® Diffuser is also great for use in multi-cat households to help keep them all relaxed around each other.
- Comfort Zone® with Feliway® Spray is easy and convenient to spray in an area where a cat has recently marked or scratched. It’s also good to spray in a crate to help cats remain calm during travel.
Does it work?
Recently I had an opportunity to test Comfort Zone® with Feliway®.
This isn't my first time with these products as a vet had recommended them to me in the past. I have found, in the past, that they worked really well with stopping pets from marking. Sebastian used to act out quite a bit and honestly go insane running around anytime there was a change.
When we started using the diffuser, he was naturally calmer and by putting the plugin in an area that he was always in, he was a lot calmer. I would say the products worked EXCELLENT for that situation.

Now a few months ago we lost Napolean to diabetes and we also adopted two new cats and a new dog.
Actually a second dog as our first died from distemper just weeks after we adopted him. As you can imagine the change has been extensive in our house. While I have not noticed a main difference using the diffuser this time (the new cats still peed under the couch because they were scared to come out), I have been able to curb some behaviors in my bedroom with the spray.
One of the cats was marking in a corner and that has since stopped when I started using the spray. We do have some problems with our older cat consistently attacking one of the new cats and unfortunately that has not stopped even with the usage of the diffuser and spray.
So in this case, I would say that it helped in some instances but not all.
Keep in mind that you need 90 full days for the product to generally have a full effect.
You can pick them up at Petsmart or Petco and learn more on thier Facebook page.
As always, please spay, neuter, and ADOPT!

Your kitties are so cute! It’s good to know this product can help with some issues, every kitty is different though so it would be hard to be 100% effective with that many in the home!
