Hello, I am Marianna from Green Mama's Pad. I live in New England with my husband and our 3 little boys.  Our oldest is 4.5 and our twins are almost 2.5. I am also pregnant with boy #4 who is due to arrive in mid-December, 2009. About 2 years ago I made the decision to try and be a little more "green" for my family and planet. I started by switching all of our personal care products like soaps, lotions, etc. to more natural options and it really just snowballed from there. Now I am by no means an expert or the greenest person out there, probably far from it. I feel there are many shades of green and I am more of a light green and still learning a whole lot.

I started my blog in January 2009 so I am still fairly new to the blogosphere. Some of my family and friends would ask me questions about what products I use or what changes they could make. So I thought, why not start up a blog to share information with others looking to make a change? My goal from the beginning has always been that if I help just one person be a little more green, then I am a success and I am happy. I like to think that I have accomplished this.

So what can you find over at Green Mama's Pad? For starters I like to share "Going Green" tips: easy ways for you to make some changes in your home and life. I've discussed things like Cloth Diapering, Ditching Bottled Water and even How to Have an Eco-Friendly Easter. I also love finding cool new eco-friendly products and sharing them with my readers. Its amazing how many great options there are out there and I like to bring those to my blog for my readers to check out. I've come across neat products like organic pillows and stainless steel sippy cups. From time to time I will even host some giveaways so you can have a chance to win some of these cool things for yourself.
