When you become a Mom there are times that it feels like "you" don't matter to you anymore.  We are so busy caring for those we love that our needs are put on the back burner.I will be the first to admit that I'm lucky to get my once a day shower. I know I'm not alone. I have heard this from so many other Moms.

Yet we sit back and say "well since it's like this for everyone I guess it's normal." Well I've come to realize that it's not. It may seem normal because million of others Mothers/Parents deal with the same thing.To care for our loved ones we first must care for ourselves so we can give 100%  I get cranky with my kids and husband some times because I'm worn down. I need that time to refresh. I don't care if it's 15 minutes, it helps.

My favorite thing to do for me is lay in the hammock and listen to music or read. I also love to take a nice long bubble bath.

So I challenge all of you to do something for yourselves. Whatever! I don't care.

Do something you've been wanting to do but just haven't. Take a walk. Go for a drive with the radio blasting. Go get a cup of java. Go to the bookstore and grab a magazine or book and read. Go to the pet store and look at the cute animals. Anything, just do it for you.
