Some of our Momdot writers and members decided to venture out for Black Friday. Contribute to our forum topic about Black Friday shopping. I personally took advantage of Walmart’s camera sale, and grabbed a nice 10.2MP camera for only $70.
The sales aren’t over! With Cyber Monday you can find even more deals! Some stores even extended their Black Friday deals.
WalMart – As predicted they did huge sales to attract customers. The Walmart I went to had to have a few 100 people just at Black Friday open time. A lot of their online sales are still running like video game bundles, video cameras, and GPS systems.
Best Buy - Their sale started Sunday and ends Monday. Nothing too interesting, and their TV section wouldn’t even load for me!
KB Toys – Save up to 60% off toys and games. As a special offer you can use this link to get an extra $5 off $100.
Toys R Us- After a pretty weak Black Friday sale, TRU is coming out with some good sales. They are offering freebies for certain purchases as well as free shipping on most items over $25.
Amazon – They are still running their Black Friday sale and haven’t announced much after that.
Sears / KMart – Both just have a variety of items plus free shipping.
Macys – “Web Busters” and more sale items. Another free shipping offer as well.

I know all about Cyber Monday & Black Friday…my husband works in a warehouse that ships for most of these companies. Wal-Mart is one of their biggest customers, along with Buy.com (started by a former employee of my Hub’s company)
He has worked EVERY Thanksgiving for the last 5 years! Our daughter has never spent a single Thanksgiving with her extended family. His last day off was the week-end BEFORE Thanksgiving. He has worked 10-12 hrs every day since Thanksgiving. This is the time of year where I become a Single Mother & we fight because he is tired & his back is killing him & I need him to do stuff around the house.
