I would guess his MIL but that MIGHT get me in trouble
To be fair MANY of us guys know where the dryer lint is!!
And if you own a dryer, that means your dashing and wonderful husband has to climb UP to the roof and clean it out.
HA! MOre like HIS mother. LOL! But our dryer is hooked straight to the outside downstairs, so no cleaning for him. But he is dashing.
Haha…that is my husbands pet peeve too! I have other things on my mind besides dryer lint, I try to do it once a week. I know I should do it more…like Chris said it can catch fire. Actually it has caught fire before but not from the lint, from the cord in the back.
I remove the lint from the lint trap but my dryer lately needs 2-3 cycles for heavy loads in order to dry. But thanks to reading these comments, I’ll check the back of the dryer too.
It’s dryer lint. and not only do you have to clean the lint trap, but you have to get one of those long brushes to clean out where the lint screen goes AND clean out the other side (where it vents to fresh air). I learned this the hard way.
You need to be careful Miss I Burned Down My House! LOL
I actually DO take HIS side on this one…
1-it’s the FIRST thing I do before using a dryer…is the trap empty
2-it’s the second most important fire check in your house, as it WILL cause a fire!!
Don’t let her fool you. That is like a weeks worth. If I didn’t go by and check it it would catch on fire. And, she wonders why she has to run clothes twice sometimes in the dryer to get them dry.
Great ideas. I am always teasing Trisha about them. I keep telling her that I am going to make her a sweater one day. Or that she should use it as fabric for her bow holders to save money. They often times come in pretty colors.

Whoa…that cannot be dryer lint. Holy shitballs. Are you saving up to make a blanket?
Or maybe it is a swiffer dust mop that you used to clean up the Grand Canyon?
All I know is…my lint trap is sparkling clean (just don’t go look at my bathrooms!)

I knew right away it was the lint trap. I never remember to clean mine until I have a load of clothes that are still damp after a full cycle. Then it dawns on me, ok I need to clean out the filter.
And another good thing about being single…I don’t have a DH to nag me about it.
Yeah, its the lint trap, but yall thats like 2 days worth. We do like 6 loads a laundry a day and i dont remember to change it for like2 or 3 days and it piles up. Its in the back of the dryer
Trisha! If that’s your lint trap from the dryer like I think it is, that’s such a fire hazard. And, it uses up so much electricity because your clothes will take forever to dry. Sorry, I will take his side on this one. But show me a sink full of dishes and I’m your girl. My DH hates that I can’t seem to run the dishwasher.
My guess is lint from the dryer. my dh would get so very mad at me for forgetting to empty it. Now I have a front loader and it’s right there in plain sight and really small, so if I forget, I could cause a fire or something. LOL Plus my 3yo boys love to empty it for me and they NEVER forget.
