Reading has always been an important part of our bedtime routine with Lily. Every single night after bath time, Lily chooses a book and we both snuggle in her bed to read. I am hoping this will encourage her to pick up a book on her own and eventually instill a love of reading.
I think one of the best things about reading is that it forces you to use your imagination. Unlike a movie where everything is laid out before you, books encourage you to picture what the murder scene looks like, or what the title characters are wearing. You have to imagine what their accent must sound like or how they wear their hair. What a great gift to give your child!
MomDot wants to help you promote reading in your own home by letting you know of an gigantic book release (literally!). DINOSAUR offers young readers an in-depth, gripping journey back to a time when these prehistoric creatures ruled the Earth! Each stunning spread features different fascinating species and provides the facts and meticulously researched details that dinosaur fans want to know.

Complete with beautiful illustrations and a design that captures the feel of an old, weathered paleontologist’s journal, DINOSAUR will captivate the imagination of dinosaur buffs and curious dino experts in-the-making.
The book also includes a tri-fold timeline outlining the key historic ages, mini booklets with little known dinosaur facts, and a giant foldout poster that includes various life-size dino footprints (and our relative mini-scale human size), this is the definitive dinosaur book for budding paleontologists as well as fans of every age.

3) Do you find it important to read to your children?
Yes! It’s very important, not only for them in educational terms but also for their imaginations, creativity and to introduce them to something that will help them destress and enjoy life more!
2) Do your children like Dinosaurs?
Yes! My daughter is especially big into dinosaurs
1) What do you are children like about reading?
Both my kids love books and the time we spend together cuddling on the couch or the bed together while we read. They are both very creative and imaginative so they love to hear stories of all kinds.
I think my children enjoy hearing about new places and different types of lives.
2. Do your children like dinosaurs?
I’m not sure yet, but I sure hope so. My older sister is pregnant with the family’s first grandchild, she and her husband have been trying to get pregnant for years, and at Thanksgiving they announced they were. It’s a boy, and I’m fairly certain I’m going to be the best aunt ever. He’s due in July and I have already spent entirely too much money on stuffed dinosaurs and tiny dinosaur outfits. He’s a boy, so of course he is going to LOVE dinosaurs, just like his Aunt Bai!
I think it is very important to read to my son. Reading to preschoolers is the best way to prepare them to read on their own. Thanks for the chance!
My son is a huge dinosaur fan! He loves to tell me that some dinos eat meat and some eat plants!
Right now my son cannot read on his own but he loves reading books himself anyway. He loves looking at the pictures and using his imagination. Thanks!
My daughter loves reading books, she says its because she wants to be the people in the books lol!
My daughter LOVES dinosaurs!
I think it is very important to read to your children!
My girls love dinosaurs and I know they would enjoy this book. Thank you!!
My girls like learning about new things through reading. They also just like the story, hearing about others and their lives. Thank you!
haha, We all actually went to the museum today, and saw dinosaur bones for the first time! It was a wonderful day, and we are going to go back. So yes, we love Dinosaurs.
lets go back in time
I think it’s early to start reading early and make it a habit.
Of course reading to my daughter is important, I hope it encourages her to read more!
My daughter likes dinosaurs as long as they’re not too scary.
It’s great to see my kids both reading now. At 10 and 7, they are doing great and I love to see the books grow in size every year. They both love dinosaurs, too! It is important to me to still read to them, I like the stories, too. We recently went through all of the Spiderwick books together. Thanks!
We all heart dinosaurs in our family!
