We are a music based family…if you hadn’t noticed via our insane Funky Fridays some weeks. Charlotte hasn’t been left out of the groove at all and some days I feel if I hear the Kids Bop CD commercial one more time, I’m going to start groaning out loud. But if truth be told, its clear that music is used to educate and teach children every day and its a fun way to learn that doesn’t feel like “boring” learning.
Recently Charlotte has come home having memorized months and days of the week due to tunes of the songs they sing at school. Smart Music 4 Kids takes the same learning tool of song and turns it into a fun way to grow your child’s brain, all while making it seem like a game. Now, if they could find a fun way to sing quantum physics, we would all be brainiacs!

Dittydoodle Works Lessons In the Lyrics System, based on the award-winning public television series inspires young children using carefully crafted songs that teach as they entertain. This music-based learning aide, not sold in stores, comes complete with 4 educational episodes on 2 DVDs, a 14 song CD, a Dittydoodle Works Activity Book, and 3 fun certificates to reward your child?s progress.

Beginning this month, the “lessons in the lyrics” featured in every exuberant episode of Sheira & Loli’s Dittydoodle Works will come home to preschoolers and their families like never before! The award-winning live action series from Rogar Studios seen on public television stations nationwide is now available to children on KOL Jr. (www.koljr.com), AOL’s online destination for children ages 2-5.
Rogar Studios and KOL Jr. have made available to fans of the lively, learning-focused program an exclusive Dittydoodle Works video jukebox featuring 30 musical and meaningful clips from the critically-acclaimed series that’s been widely lauded for teaching kids gentle life lessons through its catchy and original sing-along songs. With a simple pull of the virtual jukebox’s lever, children and families are transported into the colorful factory, where the program’s dynamic, singing- and dancing-packed action takes place.
The new KOL Jr. destination also includes a Dittydoodle Works coloring page for more at-home fun, http://kids.aol.com/KOL/2/KOLJrMusic/article/dittydoodle-works, and a link to the series’ official website, www.Dittydoodleworks.com, where kids and families can find the latest news, products and show information as well as engaging, interactive activities inspired by the program that’s been described as “like vitamins for a child’s imagination.”

To further its unique teaching model, earlier this month, Rogar debuted its all-new Lessons in the Lyrics System (L.I.T.L.S.), a music-based learning system for preschoolers. The comprehensive kit includes two DVDs of four Dittydoodle Works TV episodes, a CD of 14 of the show’s most popular musical numbers, an activity book for kids and three certificates of achievement that parents can use to reward their children for a job well done. The $24.99 system is exclusively available through a 60-second infomercial now appearing on the best-watched TV networks for kids, including PBS KIDS, Discovery Kids, Qubo Channel and on Nickelodeon, as well as online at www.smartmusic4kids.com

I like the certificates. Being rewarded is always fun.
I like their patience and imagination DVD. I think it’s a great influence for children.
My children’s educational growth is enormously important to me. I am a college graduate and feel that learning and education should never stop. It’s something we can all do on a daily basis. I’ve always focused on helping my children to grow intellectually.
My children both love singing and I enjoy incorporating that into learning as well. It’s fun and doesn’t even feel like your are learning, just playing.
Thanks for the great opportunity!
I know singing is a very important in education. I’m an adult now and there are still songs I sing to remember things.
I love some of the other CD’s they have. I would really like to get the patience and feelings and communication ones for my son! Communication has a very large part in the learning process.
Their education is very important to me! i have realized that more now that my son is in preschool. He loves to sing and comes home with new songs memorized all the time. The months, days of the week, how they wash their hands, etc. It is fun to see how fast they learn.
I think it is especially important to learn these things while they are young so they will learn better studying habits and such when they are older.
I like how certificates are included to reward progress.
It’s important to me because it shows they are developing their knowledge and thinking abilities. Currently singing is not a part of it.
My kids love to sing and I sing to them all the time. Their learning is very important to me as I want the best for them.
Education is so important in so many ways and we stress that daily with our children. They both love music…all types!
I was looking for second language skills. I’d like spanish as a second language. Zippy & Doodles Youth X-Small T-Shirt is a cute T-shirt for budding bilinguals.
My son’s at that age where he absorbs everything and is excited to learn, so we think it’s important to expose him to as much as possible to allow him to learn new things. It’s definitely really important to us.
Singing is definitely a big part of it for us! My son is constantly making up new songs-it helps him remember things better.
Education will open so many doors and give so many opportunities to my kids! And yes, they do enjoy songs and music.
Of course my child’s growth is very important to me. I can still remember as a child what it meant to me to constantly learn new things. I loved to read and couldn’t wait to get my hands on another book. I’ve really tried to pass this love on to my son. While he doesn’t know tons of songs yet since he is only two, we do sing together and he warms my hear with his “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. The other night I though he was sleeping but I randomly heard him on the monitor singing to himself: “Bob the Builder, can we fix it? BOB the BUILDER YES WE CAN!” It was too cute!
my kids education is very important i think manycuriculums can teach kids be it art, singing sports
Yes, My childs educational growth is very important to me. Yes singing songs are a big part of learning everything from reading to new words, to dancing and ryhmming. I like to teach my kid’s outside of school in a fun way, like singing. Thanks.
OUR KIDS EDUCATIONAL GROWTH IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE. AND YES, THEY ARE BUDDING SINGERS!
I homeschool my son so learning is extremely important. Great prize.
Music has been a huge part of my toddler’s education. She really seems to connect to music and we have found that if it is put in the form of a song she retains the information better. In fact I think that she know the words to more songs then I do!
my kids are pretty fond of singing, please enter me
