For all the blog giveaways for our kids, we have to give things for mom this month as well. I am going to start with jewelry! What mom doesn’t need another piece to adorn her collection and make her feel special. I know personally that I do not have a ton of jewelry, so any extra piece I get is a blessing.
What I love about Docia Lynn is that its run by a MOM. I definitely support mom run businesses and I want you to keep Docia Lynn in mind when you need a new piece of jewelry for a special outfit. We have to continue to promote and buy from moms before big business!
About Docia Lynn:
Welcome! The Docia Lynn company was started by a busy, full-time Ph.D.working mom of two. When Docia Lynn became a mom, she quickly compromised her sense of fashion for her family and career. After regaining her personal sense of style and connecting back to fashion she launched DociaLynn.com, an online trendy boutique, in early fall 2007.
DociaLynn.com was uniquely created to empower women across the globe to regain and maintain their sense of style with beautiful and unique fashion jewelry and trendy accessories at affordable prices. And, to provide women with a wonderful online shopping experience. Docia Lynn.com offers a wide array of fashion forward jewelry for the ever changing roles of women, including necklace and earring sets, pendant sets, hip bracelets and unique watches. Docia Lynn is for the career mom who wants to add a hip and modern touch to their work outfit or the stay at home mom of four who wants to look hip, trendy and modern at a school function.
We hope to serve as a fashion jewelry advisor to women who want to upgrade their outfits with affordable and versatile jewelry for their changing lifestyle. We invite you to visit our blog, Fashionably Yours, where women connect to share their fashion tips and fashion faux paus.
From chunky shell sets to funky cuff bracelets, we can already picture Carrie from Sex in the City rockin it out.
We want you to have a chance to have some new jewelry too! Docia Lynn has generously donated this striking Animal Print Pendant, so now, so perfect from day to day and right to the office! ($25.99)
All you have to do is head over to Docia Lynn and check out the sponsor. Then come back here, let us know that you have visited her page and also tell us about the worst piece of jewelry you have ever owned! Don’t forget to check back in on Sept 22nd to see if you are a winner!
Winner will be pulled on Sept 22nd.

I’m actually not a big jewelry person but I think the rings on there are pretty and something I would definately wear. As for my worst peice of jewelry, keep in mind I’ve had very little ever bought for myself or given to me, was the first ring I was ever given by a boyfriend. He bought me a gawdy blue stone ring for Christmas and worse yet it was a gold band, I HATE yellow gold. Anyways, I’m entering this for my mom, this is something she’d definately wear and the woman adores jewelry (I just hope she doesn’t pass her stuff down to me).
Cool site!
My worst piece of jewelry was actually a collection. I used to wear dolphin everything. Earrings, bracelet, necklace, the works!!!
There are some pretty cool things there!
My worst piece of jewelry was a necklace an old b/f bought me from Hallmark. It was HORRID! The pendant was a large piece of glass in an undescribable shape with blue green and gold swirls. The chain was a thick(think 1/2 inch) of blue seed beads all intertwined. It was so bad he even at one point had to ask me “I havent seen you wear that necklace I got you…” OOPS! I showed it to my grandma and she loved it!!! Need I say more? An at the time 20 year old wearing a piece of jewelry her Grandma loved??? WHAT?!?!
She has some very unique pieces. I LOVE Jewelry. I don’t really own any ugly stuff nor have I ever (I have exquisiite taste!), but…if I had to pick one it would probably be these black and gold earrings I had in college that I wore to a formal. My sister said they were very “Tammy Faye Bakker”. LOL. They were big, but that was the 90’s so I fit right in wearing them!
that site has a ton of great pieces! Fancy!
I am sure my worst piece of jewerly I ever wore, were earrings that were penguins! Ack!
Maybe I am too late but I will try anyway. I checked teh website and saw some very unique pieces, pretty cool! My worst piece of jewlery was a necklace I have had for many years and I love the pendent but whenever I wear it it turns my neck all green.
Ooooh I like the stretchy goldtone hearts watch! Worst piece of jewelry would have to be my old fluorescent yellow, star-shaped earrings that looked straight out of JEM. I think they were in style for about 3 days.
i love all the funky stuff! i had a necklace made of a plastic bag and a milk cap one time – for sentimental reasons it was cute, but it was pretty ugly.
I forgot to add I visit docia lynn I love the Black & Green Teardrop Necklace Set. It is so gorgeous.
