Alright, I know you are all up in arms over the pulls closing a day early then intended. I’m very very sorry. I upgraded the template (and will be doing again this weekend) and it shut off some of my pluggins and one was our polls. I had fully intended on trying to open the polls today and give everyone an additional 24 hours, but it wont let me open all of them. Its telling me “access denied” on almost all of them.

I honestly cannot count comments for entries, its entirely too time consuming and so is making full new polls. It would take an hour or more so unless someone wants to come over here and do the work for me, the Dottie awards will have to stand the way they are.

In all fairness, they did run 7 full days, so I don’t believe the results would have swayed that much in that one extra day.

I will make winner announcements on Monday. I think overall the entire Dottie Awards were super successful this year and a TON of fun.  We are already in the thought process of the next ones and hope to coincide it around BlogHer so we can hand out a few real awards in person.

I loved seeing all your sites and your visitors really did come out to support you, so you should be proud.
