Aubrie has very dry legs despite the use of a popular baby lotion almost every night. I started using the Ecostore USA brand about two weeks ago and I can definitely tell a difference in the condition of her legs. I was also pleased with the Baby Body wash. It had a very silky feeling in the tub and rinsed off easily. But the best part was knowing that I wasn’t putting harsh chemicals on my 10 month old baby girl AND I was helping the environment. We want to add as little to pollution as we can.
We stopped using cleaning products full of chemicals years ago but it just didn’t seem right to have stinging eyes and sore lungs just to keep the house clean. Now we are trying to transition all of our body care products to all natural.

Keeping my kids and pets healthy and away from harsh chemicals is so very important to me.

I think that most people do not know that trying to go a bit green can save them green (money). I like the cleaners because I too have a few people in my house that have sensitive skin. I have to use laundry soap that is completely free of dyes and perfumes. I would like to try the baby lotion to see if it would help with my baby’s skin.
I have been trying to go green for a while now. I started slowly. As with any change in our lives it does not work unless you do it slow and change one thing at a time so you don’t overwhelm yourself.
Now I would have to say I am still only “light green”, but at least I am trying.
I have met a few Mom’s along they way that are starting this green journey of their own. I found that I hated those ugly canvas bags when I stopped using the plastic bags from the store. So I started making my own. The bags are super cute and can be used for anything you want including shopping. If you are like me you enjoy cute bags and shopping. I thought of ways to go farther with my bags besides just being cute. The local animal shelter takes donated items and sells them in a thrift store. So I went there and asked them if they get any clothes or material that is damaged or unsellable. I purchase all of that material from them and use that to make my bags. That way I am helping the animals and not using any “new” material to make the bags.

As a mother of three asthmatic children and one lucky one that isn’t, its important to me, not to be spraying chemicals that could harm them! It is also great to know that because of products like this, our kids stand a better chance at having a healthier planet!

It is important to our family because I believe that chemicals cause mutations in cells that creat problems like cancer. I want my family to live healthy as long as they can.
We feel that the overuse of chemicals is leading to many of today’s health problems–cancer, autism, etc. We keep a green home.
