End of the Summer Ice Cream Party!

This post is brought to you by Lunchbox PR.

Last week was my grandmother, dads, and aunts birthday so this weekend we celebrated at my dads house family style- pizza, cupcakes, and ice cream! Prior to showing up, Charlotte and I stopped at Walgreens (5 minutes from my dads house!) and bought a ton of fantastic goodies for everyone.

I wasn’t sure what kind everyone liked so we just bought it all. HAHAHAHA!! I think we ended up with Klondike, Fruttare, two boxes of Magnum, and Reeses. On a side note- I had a Reeses and YUM.

It’s finally summer again and it’s time to treat yourself! Go to your local Walgreens and grab what you are craving. This is ideal for hot summer nights with the entire family, and it’s super convenient so you don’t have to make that grocery store stop or wait around for the ice cream truck.

See anything you like in here?

My dad has a pool so everyone had a great time swimming and eating – plus now that we live closer, its so much easier to get back and forth. We had to literally drag the kids out of there as it got dark for the drive home.

I think they would prefer to be at my dads all summer…

My dad got a custom corn hole came for his birthday so everyone took turns. Phoenyx thinks its easier when you stand RIGHT THERE.

I think on Phoenyxs birthday we are gonna do this all again- getting the ice cream bars over the tub was so much more fun! Luckily for my dad, he got to keep the leftovers since the drive was too long to keep the ice cream from melting.

Thanks to Lunchbox PR (whom also provided a $20 gift card to facilitate our birthday fun!), you might be able to win a $25 gift card to go host your OWN ice cream party.

Hi, y'all! If you got this far, awesome . I am assuming you want to know more about me. I am a *cough* 36 year old mom of 2 great kids, 6 rescue animals and proud wife of my high school sweetheart. This blog is my outlet and allows me to pretend I am a kid at heart. I get to play with glitter and glue, eat lots of sweets (its for the blog, I swear!) and connect with readers and friends. As a blogger I love to share with you- so the rundown is that I am currently reading this, using these for calmer bedtimes, giving away this, and suggesting here if you ever wanted to be a blogger yourself.
