Starting Nov 1st, the online Christmas orders started in my store….and never stopped. I shut down for over a week due to my Disney trip and still, the orders came…and came. I had to remove inventory on Dec 1st to have enough time to get everything out in time.
I received 70 orders in Nov, which meant 3 hours a piece from start to shipping, which was 210 hours of work for little old ME. Alone. Now I will say my DH did save me and cut tulle and really, really helped me some days, but overall it was just me and a LOT of work.
I finished and boxed up my last order this evening and my store is shut off till January 1st and I feel like I just came home from the war. My back, my fingers, my head…all get a break.
I can look forward to tulle free clothing for two weeks! WOO HOO!
(if you are a mom based business, you know what I mean about having time off).
This is the first time I have shut down this long (not fire related, lol) in over a year. I feel FREE!!!!! Now I can catch up and comment on all the blogs I have been missing and blog stupid nonsense here again and..well, do whatever the hell I want.
I feel good..nanananannana, I knew that I would now…nananananna.
