I usually dont talk about politics

But I could not NOT mention the person that got fired from Home Depot over wearing an In God We Trust pin w/ the American Flag on it to work.

I have a message for Home Depot:

ibelieveingod

UNFAIR. DISCRIMINATION. AGAINST. CHRISTIANS. IN. THE U.S. EVERY. DAY. IN. AMERICA.

And its getting old.

You know, it’s sad. I was just thinking about this today, so many people HATE Christians saying they are judgmental, blah, blah, blah. But in all reality when they make general statements like that, they too are being judgmental.

It’s really a sad thing. But the Bible says stuff like this will happen. I am a Christian too, and it just saddens me.

I agree wholeheartedly… why is okay to wear a pentagram or a burka but not an “In God we trust” pin… it’s on our money for goodness sake!!! Are they gonna stop accepting cash at Home Depot?? I believe in God too, and I’m glad somebody is willing to YELL it out!!

    Good post!

    Oh, my. I tread lightly here. I am not a Christian, but I believe in God. Many don’t see the difference, but it is just how I identify myself. That being said, I think it is a bit ridiculous that someone was fired over this. Our country was based on finding freedom from religious persecution, not on finding new ways to persecute people. I think some people have way too much time on their hands and the Home Depot should be ashamed! Are we really no better than those other countries fighting over whose religion is the right one? {sigh}

It seems as though Christians are persecuted more and more every day and forced to make our faith private while being forced to tolerate other religions – that is scary.

    I refuse.

I will be as bold in Christ as everyone else is in their beliefs… period.

Off topic – did you hear about the man who was fired for wearing a pink tie in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month?

What is wrong with this country? … Don’t answer that.

This is happening more and more lately. The Christian religion is being marginalized. We are being mocked for our beliefs and it is only the beginning. The politically correct want us to be just like Europe. Godless. Where everything goes morally, but little freedoms like wearing a “In God we Trust” pin are not allowed.

People have to stand up for their beliefs, before it is no longer allowed to believe them.

OMG!! And of course, the ACLU WON’T help him with this one. What is wrong with our country when we have laws to protect every OTHER race, religion, creed and sexual orientation, but a CHRISTIAN is NOT PROTECTED??

    WTF??

If you have the right as a Muslim, Buddhist or whatever, to get time to pray during the work day, days off for religious observances, etc., then WHY doesn’t a CHRISTIAN get the same benefits?

This is WRONG on so many levels.

It seems that Christians are the new group to discriminate against in the USA, huh?

This Politically Correct shit has got to GO. NOW. It is a pandemic.

It’s all in Revelations… it’s only going to get worse. This makes no sense; seems rather odd that something so obvious is so hard to get anyone to realize, doesn’t it?

You know, as long as he’s not preaching to other people, who cares? His pin doesn’t inhibit other people’s right to express their views. I didn’t see where he was running around sticking them on everyone he met.

And yet Hooters still exists. Nevermind the scantily clad waitresses. Their food offends me. It’s over priced and mediocre. Can we get them fired form the restaurant industry for that?

I think this is just plain STUPID!! What is this country coming to?? We are losing what’s important! He should just sue them and get what he deserves. Oh, this just all pisses me OFF!

Bless your heart. I smell a boycott coming on. Easy for me, since we only have Lowe’s Hardware, and I love them so much I might name my next kid Lowe.

Wow, I just can’t believe it when I hear stories like this. I’ve heard ones like this and ones where people aren’t allowed to have support the troops or American flags in their workplaces. This is just nuts on the companies part!

Ok yes I have to keep going about this.

    Is that even legal?

When people in this country cannot stand up and announce their faith in a public setting, it is time to prepare for the end.

You can wear a Metallica t-shirt but or pin but not one announcing your faith? This is insanity.

The very beliefs this country was founded upon are being destroyed one at a time and I’m not just talking about God. I’m talking about our freedoms.

You have to look it up. The guy had been wearing this pin for NINETEEN MONTHS to work to support his brother who was in afganistan. Then he started bringing his bible to work to read on breaks. No biggie..i know tons of people that bring religious books, any books really, to work.

THEN they fired him for the pin.

They said they have sanctioned pins for him to wear and he didnt. Um…

He said..well, you let me wear THIS ONE for 19 months.

He is suing. And i hope TO GOD he wins.
