First Day of School
Today was Lily’s very first day of Preschool! The girls went (with their parents) from 9am-10am and the boys from 11am-12pm for a small orientation and to meet their new teacher. Lily woke up at 5am…yes, 5am….and got dressed in her uniform. We didn’t have to leave the house for 3 whole hours! Excited much?

When we arrived, Lily was excited to learn that some of her friends from last year (she attended and Early Childhood program at this school) were in her class again. The “3 Musketeers” shrieked like teenagers and hugged each other for a solid 2 minutes. After the meet and greet, cookies were served and the kids were free to explore the classroom. Lily and her two best buds ran to the “housekeeping center” and began checking themselves out in the mirror (does it REALLY start this early?!?).
After a few minutes, Lily flips her hair and takes this very sassy pose in front of the mirror and exclaims:
“School will be a whole lot better when the boys get here!”
Oh. Dear.
I am now looking up the nearest boarding school or convent. I think I am going to need it.
Help!

awwww shes’ so cute luv the 2 thumbs up.
Yep better get the boarding school ready or start home school. My daughter was the same way and still is. He best friend is a boy. They have had class together for the last 5 yrs.
My daughter started preschool in Germany and she had two little boys who both considered themselves her boyfriends. My daughter would go up to one of them and say something to the affect of, “I’m going to Mark’s house after school.” Alex ended up in tears. The next day she’d go up to Mark and say the same thing, only using Alex’s name, and Mark ended up in tears. Needless to say, my daughter was a tease at a very early age. Fortunately she grew out of it. Good luck ladies.
LMAO It’s starting a little early huh? lol Get the shotgun ready…she’ll be 16 before you know it! Good luck!

Awe….look at Miss Lily! She’s gotten so big! She’s going to do great!
she is a cutie patootie.
My daughter starts preschool on the 10th. She is already obsessed with mirrors and “How d I look”. LOL AND she has had a boyfriend since we moved here in 2007. He is a little older and lives next door.
I am scared to see what happens in preschool. Oh LORD.
Good luck. That convent/boarding school idea sounds pretty good right now. If only I could win the lottery to pay for it…
