Have a party of course!
A few weeks ago at Brandcation the lovely bloggers in attendance agreed to not only have a party with me and dress up in their favorite 80′s gear, but to test out the Flatbreads that I brought along courtesy of The Motherhood and Flatout Flatbreads!
There is nothing funnier than seeing some tripped out version of Dolly-Newton John warming up the flatbreads either:
(Dolly Newton John here in her teenage tight pants is really Kim from TheySmell.com)
My family have purchased Flatout Flatbreads before and we do like them in our own house. They are great for families with picky kids (ahem, this house) whom is solely in charge of their own plate for the night. They look like this (see below) and your kids can do a cheese only, you can spruce up with tomato and goat cheese and basil (like moi) all while serving the hubby pepperoni:
Tip! Tip!
I think the main thing that that makes for a great Flatout Pizza is to do the prewarm up so they get crispier. Unfortunately we didn’t really have a great option of in the cabin we were renting for the weekend, but we made due and they still tasted just fine. We decorated the pizzas in sauce, mushrooms, and about 20 pounds of cheese and Blondie from The Blonde Critic did a mean job cutting them for everyone.
Btw, that cheese thing is NOT an exaggeration either. I came home with about 10 pounds left over. I have no idea how (or why??) we bought so much.
I guess we got a little cheese happy.
There are several flavors you can choose from and Heritage Wheat was my personal favorite:
And while pizzas are fun to make and even more fun to eat, they go to a whole new level when shared with friends (and fellow bloggers!):
You can pick up your own Flatout Flatbread pizzas for your Halloween party, home party, or day to day dinner at Walmart starting this past September and beyond!
Do your kids have a favorite meal they love to make on their own?

I’ve been seeing these Flatout pizza ideas a lot lately and it sounds pretty good! It looks like you all had a great time.
I have some Flatout in the fridge as well as pepperoni and cheese. Guess what’s for lunch? Thanks for the inspiration.
You girls are crazy. I love it!
P.S. I’ve had these FlatOut breads and they are a must!!
You guys are too funny! I gotta try these – and I always thought one could never have enough cheese haha
Those sound so good!! Yum! I love the photos. I see Jen from Life with Levi in the background of one being awesome
Looks like you had a fantastic time.
Also looks like those pizzas are fabulous. I am going to have to look for those for my margarita pizzas. YUMMY!!
totally going to try these. we do make your own english muffin pizzas but these look even better!
I love using Flatout for homemade pizzas that are low calorie. I make them with Laughing Cow cheese and low fat pepperoni for myself when I order pizza for the family. I had a great time at the party. Glad my face didn’t make it in this one
Those pizzas look amazing! I haven’t seed the Flatout Flatbread at our grocery store, but I’ll look for it next week!!
That 80′s party was so much fun! I’d honestly never tried Flatout breads before and I was surprised at how much I liked them!
