Veterans Day is tomorrow! When Chris was in the military, we never forgot a holiday because that meant he had the day off. Now that he is a civilian, Christmas could pass and we may not realize it.
If you are a Veteran many businesses have taken time out to honor you and of course the most important are the food ones! I have to say I am a tad disappointed that not more companies are honoring veterans more.
Your day of free food.
1) For breakfast, head over to Krispy Kreme where they are giving away free doughnuts to veterans.
2) For lunch, head over to Outback where they are honoring veterans with a free blooming onion and beverage (wtih proof of military service)
3) For dinner, Applebees is giving away select entrees to Veterans all day! OK, so if you follow my plan, you have already eaten lunch, but since its free, eat again. Simple show proof of military service and get one of the following meals free:
- Three Cheese Chicken Penne
- Fiesta Lime Chicken
- Fire Pit Bacon Burger
- Chicken Tenders
- 7 oz sirloin
- Oriental Chicken Salad
As a bonus, on November 16th, Golden Corral is hosting Military Appreciation night and you can get a free meal from 5-9pm for any person that has ever served in the military at all – retired, active, veteran, or reserves.
