Its that time of the week again! Me asking you if you can show up to chat with me all night long while we avoid our husbands and kids bathtimes and learn something very productive. Or at least that is the premise I try to go with. So far, everyone is falling for it, so Ill try to convince you of that again!
This week, our subject will be traffic. Ooh, the biggie. First thing we are going to dive into what is a “unique visitor”, what is a “page view”, what is a “hit”….knowing about your traffic, will also help you know exactly what you are doing right and what you can improve. I have been finding out lately that bloggers are misunderstanding their terms and giving out the wrong info. You want to make sure you know what it is you are talking about when a company reaches out to you. It keeps you professional and teaches you were you are growing.
Then we can talk about sources of traffic, where the best traffic is, why we retain visitors (or not), how to increase it in a fun way, and how to become the best blogger you can be!
Last, we will talk about simple ways to create larger numbers for yourself. Lets face it..if no one is reading, you wont open the right doors for your goals, so how do you get from a new site, to having Dyson knock on your door? Im going to tell you how we went from a no name blog on the scene to creating a $5000 giveaway in under a month.

We don’t get Showtime because we are poor but I would give my firstborn to see Californication. I *heart* David Duchovny and honestly have wanted to be able to check out all of those shows.

Ohh…I love Showtime. We just upgraded from basic to digital cable mid last year but could not justify paying more for those other stations. I love the Tudors and Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
