Chances are you have never met Holly. The world wide web is a big place and truth be told, Holly can be a quiet wind in the hurricane of the blogosphere.
And since you have never met her, you may never have read her view on the death penalty, her fight for Justice on a company that did her wrong (which is starting to amount to some harrassment against her), or her views on Mammograms over 50.
You may never know that she always does rounds for comments in our comment group-even if she can’t attend. You may never know that she drops sweet little emails to make someone feel better on a bad day. You may never know she donates money to other bloggers when she thinks she can help.
You may never know because Holly would never tell you what a good person she is.
So I will.
I can tell you that in the cyberworld of often black and empty, she put her heart in my hands and a shoulder under my head. I can tell you that she never has an ulterior motive. That she never asks for “contacts”, or “stats”, or links.
She is simple a friend.
If you don’t know Holly you should. If you need a friend, a real friend, stop by and leave her a comment and take the chance on finding someone you can count on.

Same as The Mom Jen- me too! We were pregnant together in 05 and had our winter babies in 06. She has and always will be a fantastic person. Very supportive, very sweet. So wonderful to see this and sorry I missed it before. Holly, you rock!

Oh I have seen Holly around a lot lately on my blog and think she is very sweet and kind!!! I have to agree she is super kind but I did miss those blog posts you referenced, so I am off to check them out now!

I do know Holly, I met her way back when my little K (almost 4) was born…back in the old iVillage playgroup forums. Although she was a January 2006, and I was a February, I was cool enough to join another forum with her that broke away from iVillage. She’s ALWAYS been a gracious friend! In fact, I just received her Christmas card in the mail today of her beautiful family! This is so awesome to post Trisha!! Love ya Holly!
