How much time do you spend in the bathroom?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cottonelle for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My kids are awesome.

They are awesome little human beings that I find incredibly adorable and interesting. Until I make the mistake of leaving them alone or giving them "freedom to make smart choices"….and then all sorts of interesting things happen.

Like face plants…

and boxes being dumped over….and over…and over….(you can times this by drawers, cupboards and baskets too)

messy

and make up being "tested"…

But there is one place that every person in this family finds peace…the bathroom. I use it mainly for the bathtub. I try to sit in the tub and read every day..sometimes 2 or 3 times if I can get away with it.

And we all use it to..well, you know…go.

When you are a mom, going into the bathroom encompasses several hours out of the day. Between the diapers, the little kids, the big kids, the bath times, the teeth brushing…you spend a good amount of time in and out. But when its time for your kids to actually use the loo, you want there to be plenty of ways to keep them clean.

That is if yo have a working toilet roll holder in the house…these are the kids bathrooms.

Don't ask.

Introducing Cottonelle Fresh Care flushable wipes and Cottonelle Clean Care toilet paper

So far, so good!

My spouse remarked that he really likes it and I had a guest yesterday and she mentioned she switched to Cottonelle cause its less damage in their house on what they call "plogging". Plogging = Paper + Clogging, which she says she gets when the kids overuse the toilet paper. She has less issues once she switched, which I am sure has been a positive change. And even with wiping noses, Cottonelle Clean Care has these really soft ridges that we have noticed make it less harsh. This is because Clean Care toilet paper has a soft feel and a touch of cotton!

Now in my house the baby is still wearing diapers and I cannot wait for those potty training days to begin, but I do remember it whith Charlotte. For a long while you are still helping in the bathroom and cleaning with dry toilet paper can be hard! Thats why Cottonelle Fresh Care flushable wipes are so helpful when it comes to messy jobs like kids or even to feel fresher yourself.

Now recently Cottonelle did a series of videos to show off that nothing can be cleaned propery without cotton and water. These are actually a pretty clever way to demonstrate the point:

Now you can head over to Cottonelle and watch the "Wash test videos" and submit your entry to win 1 of 4 grand prizes in a $10,000 bathroom giveaway!

And me? I think Ill go enter too….maybe if I win they can cement the toilet paper holders down.

Is there any special reason that you need a bathroom makeover? Leave me a comment below and let me know!

  1. I can totally relate to spending hours in the bathroom. I’ve contemplated moving my coffee maker in there!

  2. Now adays, I don’t have a lot of “me” time, sigh. My showers are super quick and then I am back to being mom again!

  3. I buy the Cottonelle flushable wipes for my 4 year old. I am hoping he will start wiping his own butt soon. :| My 9 year old only uses 3 squares per wipe (thanks to my husband’s teaching).

  4. There really are certain brands that are prone to this “plogging” you mentioned and I avoid them too! However my bathroom time is as minimal as possible. I’m in and out as quickly as possible!
