Entrecard is a widget you can place on your blog that runs on a credit system. You can exchange advertising for a day and earn credits. Entrecard has become a must have for bloggers as a traffic tool.

Entrecard Set-Up

After registering to Entrecard, you can pick your blog and install the sidebar widget. Usually the higher on the sidebar the better and easier it is to find. Your advertising will generally be higher so you can earn more credits.

You can then upload your 125×125 ad or create one. That will be displayed when you advertise on other blogs. By advertising on other blogs, you can get more traffic this way. Other Entrecard users will come and “drop” their card on you, which will earn you 1 credit.

Extra Entrecard Tools

Entrecard comes with a few handy things that you can use to promote your own blog. First they have a forum where you can list any Entrecard promotion you may have, as well as articles and more. They do marketing exchanges where you can have your articles visited.

There is a statistics page to find out who is dropping their card on you, so you can return the favor. You can also view which advertising has brought you the most traffic, so you can advertise on that blog again if you chose to.

Under the campaign section you can browse by category, price, and other settings to find blogs to advertise on. Be careful though, its an easy way to spend all of your credits!

To really get started with Entrecard, I strongly recommend the Entrebar. The Entrebar is the Entrecard toolbar. The toolbar allows you to easily browse Entrecard blogs, drop your card on other sites, and advertise on blogs you are visiting with just one click.
