I am going to take a pregnancy test (update #2)

[private]

Every time I post about Charlotte and her saving stuff for her non-existent brother and sisters and today when I am sick, everyone goes to the safe haven of “your pregnant!”.

To stop the voodoo curse of those terrible words (which are just as scary as “pregnant with twin boys” to me), I am going to PROVE that I am not pregnant by taking a pregnancy test today.

Ill be back with the answer.

dum, dum, dum, dum, dummmmmmmmmmmmm.

Update #1: Gosh y’all are impatient. I had to go get one.. I live in po-dunk ville. I had to drive 20 minutes to Target and 20 minutes back.   Then i had to get Charlotte from gymnastics. Then I ate lunch..you wouldn’t deny a would be pregnant girl some food, right? Btw, i totally do NOT believe I am PG at all.

Is ANYONE on my side? Bueller? Buellar?

I took four with my second child before it came up positive.
    I’m just sayin…

  3. Kami says:

Yeah I agree with Sandy…I have never been able to take an accurate pregnancy test. Mine are always negative. I finally just make a doctor’s appointment and they come in and say…Yep, she’s pregnant :)

  4. O dang

  5. sandy says:

funny…these things are not always accurate- I know I showed my husband see I was not pregnant with them with babies born 9 months later- and the second regnancy we bought alot and ended up in the er and they said yep she is pregnant- not dying just pregnant- so think about that one- 99 percent accurate my butt

  6. The good news (I think?), is that you’re not pregnant. The better news is that you live 20 minutes from Target. Trust me – you and your bank acct are safer that way. My Target is about…3 minutes away. In traffic. Long story short – I may as well buy a red shirt and work there.

  7. OK, so I hope you kept the receipt, because maybe you can write it off as a loss on your taxes – lol! :)

  8. Kekibird says:

Hahahahahaha!!! Well now you didn’t say ANYTHING about having to buy one! You mean you don’t have a stash under the sink in the bathroom???

  9. Not pregnant? That’s OK. But I am wondering if it’s in the water or something, what with everybody getting pregnant or thinking they are pregnant?

On Sunday, my daughter told me my boobs got bigger. The last time that happened, I was pregnant!

    Or maybe it’s PMS.

LMAO. Like you’d get preggers before BlogHer. What have you been telling all of us. Not until AFTER BlogHer.

  11. Suzanne says:

I saw the title and thought I have REALLY been out of the loop since starting school!

I feel your pain-what is it with being childbearing age and everyone jumping to that conclusion? My boss did that any time I was sick-and I’d had my tubes tied!

  12. Awww, I was hoping.

  13. Oh well, maybe next time. :)

  14. Tiffany says:

    Hmmmm…. I don’t believe it ;)

  15. Firefly says:

OK that answered it for me :)
