Thought I would give this project a little shoutout for Disney.
In today’s economy, research shows many families are buying one large gift for the family this holiday, versus many individual gifts. A family vacation is high on the list of gifts the entire family will enjoy. This year, a new attraction at Disneyland will educate and entertain moms and dads, teens and kids alike. The “Innoventions Dream Home” is located in the park’s Tomorrowland, a futuristic district of Disneyland that gives visitors a glimpse of the latest technologies and product innovation. The home represents how technology can seamlessly integrate into our lives, giving us experiences that are interactive, informational, educational and fun.
We were here in September and touring the “home”. Morgan played at that table with the screen forever. The also had a puzzle mode, where you used your finger to move the pieces and then put them together. We want one of those bad!
FYI, we are one of those families you mention! We got all four kids to agree to a family vacay to Disney World for Christmas. NO PRESENTS under the tree at all this year. Kids ages 14, almost 13, 11 and 8. I am very proud of their willingness to step outside the box! We have needed this vacation for a long time. Our youngest has struggled with a long term illness for 4 1/2 years so we have been virtually unable to travel other than small weekend trips! This one is an 8 day 7 night trip that will be taking us 10 days with driving time (he can’t fly in a plane).
We are so ready to go!
