I love that my cat spends so much time with me. Having her around makes me feel so happy. She sleeps on my bed most of the day and will cuddle with me at night when I get into bed. She’s always there for me and kicks me when I’m down, but in a loving way I assure you!
I love that I came from the most wonderful place on Earth: Chicago. Although I moved to the suburbs when I was younger, it still holds a special place in my heart. I wouldn’t move back there because of security reasons as I said before lol
I’m happy that I have such a strong, close family in my life. Even after my brother moved out we’ve all managed to stay really close and he calls me every day about anything. It’s really great to have that family support when you need it and being able to be yourself around them with no worries!
I love that my neighborhood is such a safe place and such a safe community. I was hesitant to move to the city like I wanted to because I always worried about being robbed, stabbed, etc. All those morbid things. However I feel at ease where I live, and the neighbors are wonderful.
I love that I’m comfortable with who I am and how I look, where I come from and who defines “me”. Sometimes we can succumb to peer pressure but I love that I’m pretty level headed and don’t go torturing myself (too often) about things that don’t really matter.
Something I about myself is that I enjoy helping other people. It gives me an inner satisfaction to do this because I am not doing something for myself, I am giving my time to someone that needs it, not that I don’t need my time but I have me all the time and it just feels so good to help others that need the help. I love that school is such an easy and stress-free part of my life. I’ve heard of “horror stories” about people failing all their classes and not accomplishing anything.
I love how no matter how much stress I’m packing at the moment, going to the park always drowns away my worries. The park is a great place to enjoy the still world, or perhaps watch the playful children being care-free. I love that I even have a park nearby!
I love how I can stay up to date with most of technology’s advancements. It’s very easy to get left behind. It was only a few years ago they introduced the “touchscreen” devices. That wasn’t that hard to get into but things like the internet still confuse some people. I have a pretty good grip on it!

I love how I’m able to relax whenever I feel like it. I can have alone time with myself and recharge, thankfully. I’m the kind of person who needs to be alone for short periods of time and being able to do that as well makes me ready for life!
I love the outdoors, and am really thankful that I can be outdoors often without having any kind of problems from work or family. They all love going outdoors as well, and we go camping every once in a while together. It’s a great way to make memories with your family and spend time together. Granted, for that you need time and that is sometimes absent.

My son is getting older though and is all, “Heck no I’m not wearing that green sweater.” But my daughter still tolerates it so long as I give her a Hershey’s Kiss.
I love that my husband has decided that the free stuff I get to review and occasional money will do for now. I’m so relieved that I can do my SAHM stuff and blog without feeling compelled to get a job, figure out the logistics of daycare, tackle a commute, and do the rest of the mom stuff on top of a job. Although a steady paycheck or ANY paycheck would be nice!
