Joobles Review and Giveaway

As most people know, my youngest Daughter, Izzie was diagnosed with elevated lead levels early this year.  Not a little high, but  quite elevated. This lead to a major search for the source and a complete overhaul of toys and other things in the home. We also made improvements in our plumbing to find the lead source.  After a three month wait and all the changes, thankfully, her lead levels were dropping.  We had found the source, unfortunately, we did not know what we had done to eliminate the problem. So we did not bring back any of the toys we had removed.  The lead scare forced me to examine everything I let come into my daughters reach.  I am now extra picky about what toys she is allowed.

When I got the opportunity to do the review for the Joobles from FairIndigo, I was elated. We received our Joobles, Calley the Cat, and immediately Izzie took to it.  She did not let go for hours.  The Joobles are the perfect size for little hands and so soft too.  Even my almost 5 year old wanted a “turn” with Calley.  She complained that Izzie was not sharing.  That is almost a first, usually she doesn’t want a thing to do with Izzie’s “baby toys”.

What I love about the Joobles. They are made from safe materials, organic cotton, and even eco friendly dyes.  I don’t have to worry about the lead contents of this toy.  They are soft, with no choking dangers, thus able to be handled and played with by even an infant.  They have adorable designs, each animal is so cute.   I wouldn’t mind having a complete collection. I have already recommended the Joobles to my family and friends with little ones and I recommend them to the blog world too.  Joobles are a great, safe toy to have for your children.
