I am so very lucky!  I was so excited when I was contacted from a rep of Just Buzzin’ By.  I was thrilled that they asked me to do a review on their snap pocked bib and their splat mat.  Because I have 2 very active and MESSY girls I knew that these products would be perfect for our family.

A little product knowledge for Just Buzzin’ by:

Needless to say, I knew that these products were environmentally friendly (which I try to be) and safe for my kids.

I first tried out the splat mat.  Quite often my girls LOVE to do paintings and markers and anything artsy.  I though hey, this is the perfect timing to see how well the mat does with the mess my kids always seem to make.  I had Reagan use the mat while she was painting and it was perfect.  It kept Reagan centered on one ’station’ and she didn’t have to worry about getting paint on the floor since she was working on the mat.

As you can see she got the mat messy and all over her feet and hands.  Now if she had been painting without anything under her we all know what a mess my tile would be.  The best part of the splat mat is that its easily cleaned up.  All you need to do is take a cloth with soap & water and wipe it down, its so simple.  What I didn’t do with the splat mat is use it underneath where the girls ate.  Not sure why, but I probably should have but didn’t.

Next, I used the bib that they supplied me with.  I loved the way the bib snapped and unsnapped and how you could reverse the sides of it.  So instead of one plain bib, I had 2 great bibs.  This bib definitely did the job of keeping food off of my little ladies.  Of course we all know how babies need to wear a bib and preschoolers don’t really want to.  Well, it was totally opposite of my girls.  Kaylee (the baby) hated wearing bibs, and Reagan relished in the fact that Mommy had a new bib and she got to try it out too just like her sister.  But seriously the bib fit both of the girls and worked  just as well.  It caught the food and I was able to just unsnap the bib so that I could clean it up.  And you cleaned the bib up just like you would the splat mat.  Here are a few pictures of my girls using the bib.

And you can totally see that Reagan made a mess of herself with her Icee, but was still able to keep her body clean with the help of the snap bib.

Overall, I would totally recommend Just Buzzin’ By and their splat mat and snap bib.  They were the most durable, adorable, and practical things I’ve used in a long time.  And the best part is that they keep the mess of my girls and my floor.
