The Best Products for your Baby

y7092_02_01_mediumI don’t have a baby. I briefly remember having one. I think. Its one of those poopy, peeing, throwing up wiggly worm things you are in charge of every waking moment 29 hours a day, right? I may have blocked out those years.

But that does NOT stop me from grazing every little baby thing known to man on the way through the stores. OMG. Things have some so far even since Charlotte.  Check this out..its a bouncy seat where babies can push themselves away from it and it glides.

Charlotte would have LOVED this.

You know how they say kids either talk or are physical? I had the physical kid. Not that I would have wanted her any stronger than she was already.

The First Years sent one of these over for me to check out in person. I know, I know…I punish myself even looking at it. If your wondering, I am donating it to Bloggers Give, NOT having a baby. Nice Try.

I had a chance to pull it out myself and it’s so stinking adorable!  Now Charlotte thinks we are having a baby….but you know.

I admit that I rubbed the little soft head rest on my face. It really is soft and sweet. I personally love pinks for girls and blues for boys, but a lot of people are big fans of yellow and green. Why not? Its a nice neutral color for children and a great choice when you don’t know what your having!

The First Years Says:

Happy Feet! Healthy Baby! This seat is the first of its kind and supports a baby’s growth in the first months of their life. The kick plate at the base of the seat creates a natural back-and-forth glide exercise – ideal for a baby’s developing motor skills, and uses a very natural motion for baby (even at a very young age).Other seats are passive but the Kickin’ Coaster is designed to keep baby active with physical activity along with engaging visuals and interactive lights and sounds. The seat also includes a stationary setting, perfect for soothing a baby to sleep with vibrations and twinkling lights.

Promoting healthy development with its kick and glide action, the Kickin Coaster is ideal for newborns and infants. With its soothing vibrations, playful songs and lights, the Kickin Coaster provides fun, strengthening, educational playtime for baby!

  • two seats in one: a soothing infant seat, and an active play seat
  • baby-activated glide helps develop core and leg muscles…while having fun!
  • twinkle lights for visual tracking
  • soothing vibrations
  • eight adjustable positions
  • two bouncy characters for visual fun
  • removable infant head support included
  • multi-level volume control
  • removable teether rattle for infant play
  • two types of music: soothing and playful, with six songs in all

  • What products did you love or DO you love that you swear by as a mother. We need a list! Just in case.

A baby swing! Couldn’t have lived without it. They have nice swings that plug into the wall so you don’t have to waste money on batteries – that’s pretty cool. :-)

      That looks pretty cool.

The Boppy pillow is my must-have baby item. I didn’t know I needed it, and had never heard of it, until someone gave me one at a shower. Now I have two, and LOVE them!

What a great idea! My son was all about moving his arms and legs from the very beginning, he would have loved this. Although I kinda chuckled when I first saw it cause it reminded me of something from the gym, not that I go or anything, well just that one time, but I do recall using something just like this for adults. LOL

I’ve seen those and they look like they’d be awesome. My kids liked the bouncy seat, but someone had to sit next to them and keep them bouncing or they were done. They could “jump” and bounce themselves in one of these!
My favorite products were Avent bottles and of course my baby carriers. I thought the Lilypadz nursing pads would be fantastic too, but never got around to trying them.

I had the Lilypadz! They WERE awesome. They worked so well and NO leaks. You could even sleep in them. It was so cool to just wash them, let them dry and put them on again. They are kind of like a “green” nursing product.

I wish I had had that when Rowan was a baby! I never heard the “either your baby talks or is physical” thing. Rowan was both. We had to weigh down the changing tray thingy that was on top of the playpen because she would roll under it and push it up with her feet. Like WAY up!

The Boppy was one thing I just could not live without. It was a lifesaver for nursing or even bottle feeding. And the Playtex Drop-ins bottle system. That was wonderful.

And we had a “walker” thing called an Intellitainer. That was really good. Ro could slide bak and forth (front to back) and the seat turned 360* so she could play with all the little toys and musical things it came with. You could put your baby in it and actually go do something without fearing she would fall over or get into something.

Ok that is my list from when Ro was a babe. I am sure things have changed dramatically in 4 years, but oh well. :P

I saw those and my kids would have loved them. For me, they remind me of the one machine I had to do at rehab after knee surgery LOL. It was very similar, and probably where they go the concept for babies.

I LOVE the Hefty 10 packs of plastic bags in the neat little package to put in the diaper bag or purse, the Enfamil formula packets for on the go, and Gripe Water. We used lots and lots of Gripe Water.

That is so cool. Rush would have loved that. I’m not having any more just so I can buy it though.

For older babies Rush loves his Fisher Price Galloping Jumperoo! He could jump for hours. I swear he’s going to come out of that thing some times. Plus it’s so cute!
